Auctioned Mates Revenge

Auctioned Mates Revenge

She and I were all each other had now. I looked around the ground floor, thinking back to the last two years I had worked through the darkest of the underground to get here. Every day was burned in my memory, but it was worth it to make it to Warhammer and be close to the Wallber family. My stomach clenched in fear and anticipation at the thought. The Seven Days of Heaven auction, as the clients called it, only happened once a year. The club auctioned off the chance to spend seven days with one of the ten most popular prostitutes away from the club: no rules, no restrictions, and no oversight.

It’s not for everyone because of the dark parts of the story but I couldn’t stop reading it after getting over some parts that made my skin crawl & cringe. There were some incomplete sentences which were annoying. Thought it could be longer to make it more complete at the end.
Esby Zucca
Great story. There are some heavy chapters to get through so if rape, sex trafficking or abuse are triggers for you then skip this book!!! If they aren't triggers for you then I highly recommend this book. I agree with other comments that the incomplete sentences were annoying.

The Game Is Mine

The Game Is Mine

I had thought I would calmly expose his lies, but my body couldn't help but tremble as I spoke. "You disgust me! Since that's the case, I'm done playing this game. Go, be happy with her." Shane didn't expect me to know the truth, and he couldn't even form a proper sentence. "W-What do you mean, you're done playing this game?" "I'll leave this world. I won't appear in front of you anymore." A trace of panic appeared on Shane's face. He clenched his fists, but with so many people around, he still forced a smile. "That's got to be a bluff! Your mission's not complete yet, so your sister will die!"

Ashes of the Sky

Ashes of the Sky

I wake before the sun. For a second, I don't remember where I am. Then I do. And I wish I didn't. The ceiling above me isn't stone. No cracks. No damp. No flickering torchlight. Just smooth, unfamiliar quiet. My body is already tense, already awake, already waiting for something to go wrong. Old habits don't fade. They settle in your bones. I sit up slowly, scanning the room out of instinct. One door. One window. No immediate threats. Good enough. The silence presses in around me.

The Seven-Day Agreement

The Seven-Day Agreement

The night they arrived, he even posted something online to make it clear he thought I was copying him. In our seventh year, the gift was the divorce agreement. Seven years, and looking back, the distance between us had grown the entire time without me noticing. Two notifications came through on my phone. One was from Vera that read, “Sean, nine tomorrow morning. Do not forget.” The other was from Austin. “Last night of our seven-day romance. Vera says she wants to make it a night to remember.” My eyes stayed on the paintings for one last moment before I switched off the screen.

Leaving Him in Seven Days

Leaving Him in Seven Days

It was only natural that he'd start getting overconfident and eventually face a big fall. Before he left, he came to find me. Like the first time we met, I stood on the marble steps and looked down at him. He stood below, awkward and stiff. "I'm heading to Oakheart. I might be there for a long time. Is this my way of atoning?" "It's not," I replied coolly. "Your wrong decisions led to this. It has nothing to do with me." I turned away without waiting for his response. Sienna was going with him to the south. She had no family or friends in Riverhaven. I was the only person seeing her off.

Stolen heaven

Stolen heaven

“Shall we play a game, Adrian?” Her devilish wink sent shivers down his spine; he looked down at Caleb, who seemed to be fidgeting too; he exchanged knowing looks with him, assuring him of having the situation under control. “The rules are simple: just nod your response, no talking, you talk, he dies! non-negotiable”. Adrian closed his eyes and nodded in affirmation, Diane sat up on the chair and faced him while still on his knees. Adrian could feel his knees hurting, but he didn't care at all; all that mattered to him was getting his family out of the hellhole.

The Game of Truth and Lies

The Game of Truth and Lies

“She’s gone. And you’re here… There always have to be seven players. No more, no less. When one dies, someone else is brought in.” Farrah’s eyes widened. “You mean… I’m her replacement?” Shane didn’t need to answer… Then, he handed the newspaper… Farrah reached for it without hesitation. “Read it… It’ll explain more than I can.” Shane muttered. Just like that, she unfolded the paper carefully… The words at the top of the page read: Seven Chosen for the Game of Sins.

She Is A Game.

She Is A Game.

Caleb returned his attention to the game and, with just one shot, fired down Kiera's character. "It's dead," Kiera exclaimed. "It is," Caleb said with a victorious smile. This was the first time he had ever won at this game. "You are worse than I thought." Kiera's face fell. She had never played it before, but from Caleb's words, she could deduce how badly she had performed. Liam, who had been quiet all this time, suddenly said, "Play again." "What?" Caleb asked in confusion. Liam didn't repeat himself. Instead, his big palm wrapped around Kiera's hand, which was still holding the console. He guided her hand and started the game.

HEAVEN & HELL

HEAVEN & HELL

Matt, that's my brother James," he said, pointing to a smaller boy. The rest introduced themselves. "Come on, let's have a game," Gabriel said, taking the ball, and running on to the makeshift pitch. The boys rushed onto the field behind him, shouting for the ball, Gabriel kicked it. It was so good to be outside, free and charge around the pitch, and he shouted instructions to his small team. They had come to a draw of two goals to each team when a trio of police cars pulled up on the street.

My Every Hue

My Every Hue

“Inside a closet.” “What?! What are we doing inside a closet?” she exclaimed. He laughed at her since he found her natural innocence humorous and flattering as well. “You don’t seem to know what they’re doing at this party.” he said. Adeline shook her head. “Are you serious?” he murmured. He turned to her and put on a lamblike face. “We are playing the infamous 7 minutes in heaven." he said. "What? Y-You mean the game where two people got stuck inside a closet and they will either kiss or make out?!" Adeline emphasized.
