Shameless Cast Derek Novels & Stories

"I want to thank you for rejecting me today, Derek. I always knew we were mates, and the idea of spending the rest of my life with you was something I dreaded. I also want to mention a very specific reason why I am grateful for this rejection. When I washed your laundry last week, I saw the extremely small size of your undergarments. I have absolutely no desire to be mated to a man with such a disappointingly small cock. My mistake. Cocks are for real men. You qualify for something far less impressive, and that is… a dick.” The absolute silence in the clearing lasted for ten full seconds before several pack members started laughing out loud. In the crowd, my foster parents, Robert and Susan,

Derek’s POV I was standing in front of the cracked mirror in my room, pulling at the sleeves of the only decent shirt I owned, the one I saved for days that mattered, and tonight mattered because it was our second year anniversary as mates and Theo had promised dinner and he had promised words and he had promised that after tonight things would finally change, that he was ready, that he would stop hiding us, that he would tell the pack, and I kept repeating that promise in my head because it was the only thing keeping my chest from caving in after days of barely seeing him and weeks of pretending that it did not hurt.

"Look, if you're not happy, I don't have to be your MC. No need to be so passive-aggressive about it." She turned and walked off. The groomsmen exchanged looks, then all eyes landed on Derek. His face flushed. He lowered his voice. "She's a professional. This is for your benefit. What's your problem?" There was a slight pause, then he flashed a knowing smirk. "Jealous again? And they call you a Powell heiress. You'd think you'd have more class."

What do you even get out of ruining me? I shook him off, almost laughing. "How exactly am I ruining you?" Derek's eyes went wide. He shoved me roughly in the shoulder. "If it weren't for you, I'd already be living the good life with my parents!" Even now, he had the audacity to spout that nonsense. It was revolting. I looked him dead in the eye and said slowly, "Are they your parents? You pathetic, disgusting leech—I've never seen anyone so shameless."
