BOUND TO THE BEAST
The numbers were staggering.
"This can't be real," I whispered. "This is, this is millions."
"Forty seven million, to be precise," Robert confirmed. "But that's not the most important part."
"What could be more important than forty seven million dollars?" Luca's voice was sharp.
Robert pulled out another document, this one older, yellowed at the edges. "Your father also owned something else. Something he acquired years ago, before his fall from grace. He owned shares in a very specific company. A shipping company that controls most of the port traffic on the East Coast."
