Torn between the Lycan king brothers

Torn between the Lycan king brothers

Hell would break loose before I allowed money-hungry men to destroy what I'd painstakingly built. One statement Alpha Drake made had stayed with me, even though I'd initially brushed it off as his usual riddles. Sometimes, in our pursuit of greed, we lose sight of what truly matters. It was a cryptic message, typical of the man. He should consider writing riddle books instead of trying his hand at businesses that were destined to fail.

Perfect Avatar

Perfect Avatar

The two beings observed each other in silence in the dark, the light of their eyes testifying to their presence. "I see, so you're the reason there are many people in one body?" "To be precise, it's about efficiency. We are Greed, so we take whatever interests us, in this case, it's about skill. But unlike another Sin you know, we don't just take the skill, we take the technique, we take the most we can get." "Another sin? You mean gluttony?" "See? You know more than your looks, Gluttony only takes skills indifferently, we call it being stupid, but in our case, we learn to use them thanks to one of the wonderful blessings of Greed."

GAME OF ALPHAS

GAME OF ALPHAS

“And the watch... a fitting mark for the title, I’d say. But titles mean nothing without rewards, Natalie. I did my part, and I want my money.” I laughed, a cold and mirthless sound escaping deep from my throat. I walked around him, scanning him closer. “Cornor, why are you so greedy? Do you know what happens to greedy men?” I leaned closer to his ears, keeping my voice low. “They fall too quickly.” It sounded more like a threat than a telling.

The Lycan Twins Runaway Mate

The Lycan Twins Runaway Mate

Ajax asked when I kept quiet. “Yes. And all of them are just idiots. There’s no mastermind among them, just tools.” I snorted, slapping the file shut. “Our pack is worth billions, and they are all well taken care of. Nobody here is starving, homeless, or struggling to survive.” I started walking, heading out of the dungeon. “So explain to me why these idiots keep selling themselves for scraps.” Ajax sighed. “Greed.” “Greed?” I repeated, laughing humorlessly. “Greed is the dumbest reason to betray your own people.”

Reincarnated As A Dragon

Reincarnated As A Dragon

That might be one of the cause. Man, greed can be as scary as that, huh? Reminds me of the time where I mass bought all the in-game items for my dating simulation game. Because of my greed, I ended up having to settle for a single cup ramen every day for a whole month after finishing my allowance for that month. I shook my head and heaved a sigh. I just hope that was not a case. Handling greedy people can be tough.

That is, they exploited her until they couldn't hold back their greed anymore and tore their masks, finally revealing their real faces to them. Yes – their ugly faces which are filled with greed. Endless greed as their eyes turned red due to greed. They are truly disgusting, repulsive people! Fortunately, she has distanced herself away from them in the last second of her life. Even the pain that she felt along with the weakness of her body don’t faze her as much as those people’s greed! That is how greedy they are! Exploiting you as much as they could, and every time they see an opportunity to do so!

The Pack's Triquetra

The Pack's Triquetra

“Why would the packs be involved in illegal logging?” “The same reason anyone becomes involved in such activities,” Talen sat back down. “Money?” Cameron frowned. “But the packs have heaps of money…” “Why does my father steal from his parishioners?” Heath pointed out. “Because he can. Because there’s money to be made. Because there’s no such thing as too much money.” “Greed is universal amongst all creatures on this world,” Talen agreed. “Every creature has a price.” “Even you?” Aislen wondered. She couldn’t imagine Talen caring about something like money.

Firefly
I've always wished to have the ability to read my favorite book for the first time again. What Everleigh has accomplished here is exactly that. They say there are two sides to every story, but in this case, there are multiple, and it will turn your world on its head.

This one helped me see where the Triquetra were coming from with how they were treating her. I still don't condone their actions, but they're doing better and learning from one's mistakes is important. I can't wait for the next one! I'm checking everyday for it

La Arma's Heir

La Arma's Heir

"Rain, people don't just want coins. I'm sure they'll want to own everything." I couldn't answer. Mommy had a point, and that thing made me feel even more scared. A person's greed and possessiveness of things that are not his are simply evil and blind to money and power. I can no longer think about whether it is right or wrong, as long as the important thing is to get what you want, even in a bad way. I thought about cooking a pork steak for our lunch. Mom helped me and taught me how to cook it. I'm not a professional when it comes to cooking, but I know I won't be embarrassed by who will eat what I cook.

Loving You In Secret

Loving You In Secret

"Huh? That's it?" "Yeah." "But that can be easily achieved." Tyler's tone remained sensible and calm. "Some things sound easy at first, but greed is like a black hole that can never be completely filled as time goes by. You may start off wanting just the person physically, to wanting their hearts, and to become their one and only. All troubles originate from greed."

Thanks, Author. I love this book. Re-reading Chapter 1743, which makes me quite emotional. Despite Tyler's extreme unhealthy obsession towards Vicky & his extreme controlling nature, I can't help but like him a lot & and root for him, my heart aches for him. Tyler is one of my most favourite MLs.
Harper Blake
I read this story about a year ago, and somehow it never lost its effect. At first ı was very pleased with the ending, but as time passed, my feelings changed. Noone deserves to be ruined by anyone like this, only God has the right to destroy/reward humans. An alternate ending is what’s needed.

Claiming The Archduchess

Claiming The Archduchess

The two of us nodded like we had just cracked a code to a secret message. “His greed was the beginning of his downfall. He was going to die either way. Those people he signed deals with… they were going to turn their backs on him and stab him in the back when he least expected it. Because his attention would have been on something else. You see, one thing about greed is that you are never satisfied. You see this and you think it will fulfill you. But then you find out that you keep getting hungry. More desperate. That’s why greed is one of the deadliest sins.” Her words were smooth. “I would have loved to grow old beside him, watch him be the great man I knew he was. But alas…” She shook her
