Shadows of Silk & Steel: A Billionaire's Secret, A Bodyguar

Shadows of Silk & Steel: A Billionaire's Secret, A Bodyguar

His eyes, wide with a hyper-alertness born of a dozen near-death experiences, tracked backward to the space he had just occupied. Rico was still standing, his body rigid. For a fraction of a second, he looked merely surprised. Then, a small, dark hole appeared in the center of his forehead. There was no dramatic spray, just a terrible, final punctuation. The life in his sharp, knowing eyes was instantly extinguished. He folded, collapsing into a chair and then onto the floor with a soft, heavy thud, his form now just another piece of the wreckage. Sniper. The word was a cold, clean fact in Sabe’s mind, even as the delayed thwump of the rifle shot reached the café, a dull echo of the devastat

Steel and Sin

Steel and Sin

He remembered bodies in shallow graves and promises made to ghosts. Ashley had walked away from all that; he’d let her, thinking distance would protect her. Now, has distance betrayed her?. A figure slid into the booth across from him. Santiago Vega—Santi to everyone but his mother—wore a crisp white shirt rolled at the sleeves, revealing a jagged scar down his forearm. His dark eyes flicked to the phone, then back to Marco. “Lost her?” Marco didn’t answer. Santi poured himself a shot from Marco’s bottle, uninvited. “GPS doesn’t just vanish. Someone killed the signal.”

BOUGHT,TAMED AND TAKEN

BOUGHT,TAMED AND TAKEN

“There’s something I didn’t tell you last night.” Aria’s spine straightened. Luciano reached over to the nightstand and pulled out a thin manila folder. Inside—two photographs, both grainy surveillance shots of a man with sharp eyes and a serpent tattoo curling down his throat. He slid them toward her. “Who is he?” she asked, frowning. Luciano’s jaw tightened. “His name is Damian Carrera. Head of the Bravik Cartel. A ghost from my father’s era. He’s been off the map for a decade. Until recently.”

Sophia was running a fever so eventually she slept off, and so did Leo. Arya walked back to the living room and put on the TV, scrollling through channels mindlessly. The Parker’s didn’t keep fictional books and Arya hated motivational or self help books more than anything . “The victims of this morning’s accident have now been identified,” the reporter announced. “One of them is Juan Moreno, a renowned wine maker and entrepreneur rumored to have connections to organized crime. Allegedly a dangerous figure, though no evidence has ever linked him officially.” Arya froze, her vision blurring.

What a great story. No spoilers you need to read this 2 part book. Author you have done an amazing job on this first novel on this platform. Congratulations on keeping the drama flowing. I hope book 3 which will be the continuance to this will be soon as I’m on the edge of my seat in anticipation.

Love From Hell

-———————————————————— A week after Rico’s death, the police report was released, the headline flashing across newspapers and television screens: **"Detective Rico Morales Found Dead in Apparent Suicide." At the precinct, detectives gathered in somber silence, discussing the details of the report. The forensic team had found a glass laced with poison, Rico’s fingerprints smudged across it, alongside a handwritten suicide note. The note was short but sorrowful, expressing his regret over his failures in solving recent high-profile cases, including those of his friends Jack and Carlos.

“What do you think sacrifices are for?” I suck in a sharp breath. "You’re a mother, Serena," I spit, my voice shaking with fury. "How can you do this? How can you take innocent lives—six innocent lives—when they’ve done nothing to you?" "You saw me eat a human heart," she sneers. "And here you are asking if I’m trying to take a life?” Her voice rises in frustration. “Are you trying to insult me, Piper? I’m not trying—I am taking a life. And I’ll take yours too because I need it to survive!"

Dark Possession: Bound To The Mafia Don

Dark Possession: Bound To The Mafia Don

“I saved you from yourself.” He scoffed. “Spare me your self-righteousness. You crossed a line.” “And you didn’t when you shot Ashley?” His face twitched. For a second, he looked like he wanted to hit me again. But he didn’t. He just turned and walked away. A few minutes later, Santiago sat down across from me. His presence was calm, grounded. “You know,” he began, “I once watched Fernando dismantle a rival cartel with nothing but a cell phone and a map. No guns. No bloodshed. Just strategy.”

and I shot the bullet right through his skull. [See you in hell, bitch] Mr. Luciano looked stared me with wide open eyes. I knew those were his best. Attempting to run away, I shot a bullet I'm sure affected his spine, making him paralyze instantly. I got closer to him and whispered in his ear, "no one double crosses me and lives" I smiled and killed him. I picked my suitcase and took his car. Putting my bike in the boot, I headed to the road to meet my family, 'the stingers.'

The Man I Swore to Hate

The Man I Swore to Hate

I watched from across the street for three nights. The second night, he showed. Santillan. His hair was grayer now, belly heavier, but I knew that swagger. That sloppy cruelty. He laughed too loud, flirted with waitresses too young, and tipped with crumpled bills like he owned the world. But he looked over his shoulder too often. Good. He should. I followed him once. Not close enough to be caught. Just enough to know where he slept, who he met, what car he drove. Each note I took wasn’t just about Santillan. It was a breadcrumb trail. Leading to him. To Nico. The man who murdered Perion. The man who used to fight beside him. The man who had smiled when he pulled the trigger. The trail wasn’t
