Divorced After One Night: The Plus-Size Ex-Wife’s Revenge

Divorced After One Night: The Plus-Size Ex-Wife’s Revenge

Jason pressed a soft, lingering kiss to my forehead, his fingers gently tracing patterns in my hair. "Goodnight, wife," he murmured into the dark. I fell asleep thinking we actually had a chance. I had no idea that across the city, the happiest night of my life was already being dismantled. I had no idea that Sloane Grayson was standing in a dark room, smiling down at a table full of engineered photographs. And by the time the sun came up, the dream would turn into a living nightmare.

Our Dirty Little Secret

Our Dirty Little Secret

She half-carried me inside and lowered me onto the mattress. I curled into a tight ball, knees drawn to my chest, arms wrapped around myself as if I could physically hold my fracturing pieces together. Hazel gently pulled off my shoes, then sat on the edge of the bed and stroked my hair with careful fingers until the wrenching sobs slowly ebbed into pathetic hiccups. “Try and get some sleep,” she whispered, her thumb brushing my temple. “You need to rest, Dal. I’m here.” But I couldn't, I couldn’t even stop my mind from thinking about him. Coming back to Seattle had been a terrible mistake. I should have stayed gone. I shot my eyes and the moment she left to clean up, I reached for the bottl

The Secret Billionaire I Married

he said. "Five to go." "We are going to need a bigger house." I laughed. Soft. Into his chest. "Maybe. But not tonight." "Not tonight." I closed my eyes. Seattle was waiting. But for now, there was only this. The dark. The quiet. The man holding me. The slow, steady work of building something new.

Frankincense Akpesirihis wedding, my funeral
Chapter 20: Breakfast With Edna I didn’t sleep well. Not the dramatic kind of not sleeping — not staring at the ceiling with my thoughts racing, not lying rigid beside Sebastian while the darkness did its worst. Just the light, restless kind where you drift in and out of something that feels like sleep without ever fully arriving there, and wake up at six feeling like you’ve been somewhere uncomfortable for several hours without being able to say exactly where.

Sleeper(s)

Sleeper(s)

Strauss’ assistant wriggled out of his arms, and began sprinting back up the street towards her boss. Giving a sigh, Jackson set off after her. This was really testing the limits of his luck. As he ran, he took in the surreal details ahead: not only was the bus on fire, but also several Sleepers—not that it seemed to be slowing them down in the slightest. They were still attacking their opponents, in some cases causing them to catch light as well. The sky was darkening, and the glow of all this gave the scene a strangely hellish appearance. The Sleepers were also all over the British jeep, like limpets on a rock, covering it entirely. And the car park was swarming with them, all the people w

Nightmares

Nightmares

I'm mentally exhausted, dear diary. I miss Campbell, I miss Ivy and Alicia, i muss my former school. I miss Lisa. Yes, Lisa was a big bully but I still miss her. I killed her, and I feel so bad about it. I wish I could have stopped the accident, I wished she had believed my dream and I wish I hadn't had any dream in the first place. I hate using inhalers but I'm getting used to it. I hate not having anyone to text, apart from mom and dad and granny. Diary, please keep me awake till morning, I really feel very sleepy..."

Falling For My Husband

Falling For My Husband

Sleeping with her is actually something I look forward to every time I come home from work - apart from exploring her body, of course. Four a.m. I should be at the gym already. But I’ve been admiring my wife’s beautiful face, wondering what she’s dreaming about. She snores in her sleep, and I find it adorable. Well, nothing about her is ‘not’ beautiful in my eyes. In her defense, I always tire her out every damn night since we moved to Seattle. We both knew that I couldn’t get enough of her, and she didn’t seem to mind. Needing to start my day, I stirred to untangle our tangled limbs. She moaned a protest, but soon drifted back into her sleep.

Dream wake

Dream wake

She fell asleep, not long after and I was left with my thoughts. I settled down on the bed to rest my aching joints but not long after, I heard a buzzing sound and I lazily swatted at my ear. Pesky mosquitoes won't let one be, even with the air-conditioning on. I settled into a more comfortable position but just as I was dozing off, I heard someone groaning. I jerked awake with a start and I realised I had drifted off to sleep. Someone was shaking me but I couldn't see who because the room was swarthed in darkness. I switched on the bedside lamp and the soft glow illuminated the room, leaving certain parts in shadow.

Falling For Blake

Falling For Blake

How could they bring her to Seattle so damn fast! I sighed. I hadn't got any sleep from the last 2 days. "You need to fucking sleep!" River yelled at me. I was already having a headache and I don't need his bullshit right now. "I will sleep, if you keep shut and let me do my business" I said giving him a glare . Yes, I was doing my business. I hadn't been working from the last 5 days and my dad was handling my business for that time period. Being in Seattle has delayed all my meetings. I sighed as I got up and looked at the view outside my room's window.

Like the idea of this story but I don't think I should have to pay for chapter 2 just because it got placed at the end of the book, maybe I'd be more inclined to read this if it had been put in its proper place. No point reading it when the book's finished, it won't make sense, fix this please.
