After dinner, I went back to the room with Moji and we both laid down on the bed, the duvet raised up to our chin. Are we just supposed to go to sleep now? "What do you want us to do?" She asked, as if she could read my mind. Maybe there is telepathy between friends too and not just twins and lovers. "I don't know. This is my first sleep over. I don't even know what they do there." She sat up with a start and she looked down at me with a huge smile plastered on her face. "Karaoke, gisting, playing games and a couple of other things."

His gaze lingered on Sidney as he nodded a curt goodnight and disappeared into the Spider-Man room.

Liv tosses and turns in her bed for the third time since she woke up two hours ago. She was tired when she went to bed, but after waking up in the middle of the night, she completely lost her sleep. The clock on her nightstand shows it's one forty in the morning, and she's suffering from insomnia. It's been a few months since she last had insomnia, since she started college. Liv sighs, sitting up in bed and brushing away some strands of hair that fall into her eyes. She pulls the lilac sheet that covered her body and throws it away, rubbing her eyes with the backs of her hands and searching for her slippers that are somewhere on the floor. Subject: 'Night, Isabella Me: Goodnight, Max. With a sense of contentment, I set my phone aside and closed my eyes. I felt grateful for the friends who had stayed up for me, the messages that reassured me, and the bond that held us together. As sleep embraced me, I carried the warmth of their love in my heart, knowing that no matter what challenges lay ahead, I had a support system that would always be there.

"What the hell is going on? I don't know either." "Mahira, you must remember something, right? Can you explain everything to me? I really don't remember anything. I didn't go straight home last night because I was invited by my office friends to a bar to celebrate one of our friend's birthdays. I remember that I had a drink there, but after that, I don't remember anything anymore other than I felt calm that night," Adam explained. Adam's face was no less panicked. I could catch the honesty in Adam's eyes. I was sure Adam hadn't done this on purpose. But is it really true that he doesn't remember anything about what we did together last night?

Inside, my heart was screaming, Please don’t hurt me again! “Mom! Liam!” Joe bounded toward us. “I just had the best idea!” “What is it, honey?” I asked. “I bet we could all fit on that giant bed…” “Maybe…” I said with trepidation. I had a bad feeling about where this was going. “What are you thinking, pal?” Liam asked. Joe smiled as his idea burst out in an explosion of excitement and joy, “Sleepover!”

“Are you sleeping over?” Without thinking, I thought, fuck it, Jeremiah could wait one damn night. These girls couldn’t. “Yes. As a matter of fact, let’s have a sleepover party. How about we set up in the living room with blankets, snacks, movies, everything?” Rose's and Anna’s faces lit up like the morning sun breaking through storm clouds. Even little Sophia babbled happily, waving her chubby fists as if she understood. “I have never had a sleepover,” Rose muttered, almost shy.

Eli said, slinging his arm around my shoulder. I laughed. Finally. “Can we please just do something that doesn’t involve high school boys and emotional damage? I’m stressed and it’s not even the weekend.” Eli’s eyes lit up. “Say less, girlie. Sleepover. My place. Just you and me. Junk food. That vampire show with all the hot, emotionally constipated people.” “I’m in,” I said instantly. We were mid-hug when two shadows loomed over us. “Sleepover?” a familiar voice asked.
