Pressing my lips into a thin line I sped up my strides and aggressively marched to the princess's chambers. My opponent choked me with his forearms at my throat. I tilted my head down threw it back, attacking his nose. His grip instantly loosened and I sprung up and went behind him. Derek said, trying not to laugh at Lewis' reaction. “Fall off?” Derek handed him a headset. “Put this on.” “Are you sure this is safe?” Lewis asked. “Trust me,” Derek said with a low voice. Lewis opened his eyes but his body was still tense. The engine started. The blades began to spin. Lewis’s breathing picked up immediately. “Oh no,” Lewis said, reaching out for anything he could hold. As the helicopter lifted, Derek reached for his hand and took it. Just slightly at first, but their fingers intertwined firmly as the helicopter moved higher.

I yell into Bastian's mind as I slam into Drakon. The crunch of impact is like a loud clap of thunder. Drakon screams when he slams against the tower. I twist and manage to wrap my talons around his throat. He drops the egg in order to defend himself.
