The Emperor growled out as he exerted force to break through the frost. The ice slowly cracked and broke … shattered into pieces as the spear struck towards Larice. But her hand easily caught the lance with a firm grip. “Red Burning!” Sargan cast out. The point of the spear burst out swirling red flames against Larice’s face, but the fire had no effect on her … instead, through the flames, she saw her village and her parents getting burned alive.
