Speed Of Sound Sonic One Punch Man Novels & Stories

the boy whispered. The girl with the glowing hands moved first. She didn't throw a punch. She clapped her hands together with terrifying force. A localized sonic boom erupted from her palms. The sound wave distorted the air, ripping the leaves from the trees and hurtling toward Baraka like an invisible freight train. Baraka didn't try to block it; he knew the concussive force would shatter his eardrums. He dropped to the dirt, the sonic wave roaring inches over his head, blasting a chunk of concrete off the blockhouse behind him.

The frightening soundwave shook Sir Osborn, Paxton, and the other regular Osborn family members into bleeding out of their orifices and falling to the ground. Swenson looked shocked. “Is that Sydartha Society’s Titanium Leo-roar?” Hank Veal’s signature skill? Kayson knew it as well?! Judging by how he had executed it, he was close to completing the practice, and even grandmasters could not possibly overlook the effect of the soundwave. “Hah!” Valdis shouted, dispelling Kayson’s soundwave with wrathful eyes that looked like they could spit fire. “Kid, you’re provoking me!”

Song called out. "You hear something?" Kong replied Song with a question. Song's ability was sound related. He could pick out any sounds from as far as half a mile away and he could, to some extent, manipulate sound waves in a fight. "They are coming." Song said. Pointing in a direction with his one handed gun, he pulled out a head phone and instantly wore them. Wilson wanted to ask why he used them but Kong had already exclaimed. "F*CK! Scatter but stay within two feet of one another. This is no more a hunt but a survival instead. These beasts have gone into berserk mode. I wonder why though." He said. The whole team scattered.

The screen showed a clear aerial view of Dolsor. To their surprise, the monster, previously perched on the mountainside, was swiftly moving away from Dolsor. Notably, it was traveling at tremendous speed, nearing the velocity of sound, covering several hundred meters per second. Boom! The monster broke the sound barrier with a resounding sonic boom. Before the elders could fully comprehend, it had already moved several kilometers away from Dolsor. "What..." Tommy stared at the large shadow orb, feeling utterly embarrassed. He glanced at Brice, who returned his gaze with a smug expression tinged with mockery.

Offense is the best defense, he would always say. His top speed had long penetrated Mach 5. Any simple movement by him could easily cause the winds to howl shrilly. With the fury of thunder, Chu Xun swung his fist first at Lang Mu. "Rumble!" His fist collided with Lang Mu's and a terrible shock wave pulsed away from the point of impact, eliciting a tidal wave of destruction everywhere. Lang Mu faltered backward. Chu Xun wheeled around and vanished, reappearing right before the Mustelid champion and he attacked.

Ordinarily, a strong bolt of energy would have been enough to destroy everything within 100 feet of it. At that moment, Keinan's attack reached Sebastian. His humongous fist made explosive noises as it tore through the air as fast as lightning and headed straight for Sebastian's chest. When they heard the explosion, everyone present held their breath. The sound alone was enough to show how powerful the punch was. Ordinary punches wouldn't make any explosive sounds at all. The speed of Keinan's fist must be more than five times the speed of sound. Quite apart from the strength of it, the speed alone would be able to crush steel, let alone flesh and blood.

Similarly, Amber and Patrick remained uninjured. The contorted grin on the hunched old woman's face froze slowly. In everyone's field of vision, a fleeting phantom emerged. No one could discern its origin or how it appeared; they only felt a gust of powerful wind rushing toward them. Then came a resounding explosion. It was not until the sound echoed that everyone's minds synchronously grasped the situation. The speed of this figure surpassed the sound barrier, breaking it before the sonic boom—before the ice needles pierced their throats—at a terrifying speed far beyond human limits. It rushed into the corridor, standing in front of them.
