seems like an interesting read. the opening chapters and prologue had tension and some good descriptive imagery. just be sure to proofread the narration to get rid of minor punctuation errors (mostly in parts with dialogue) and to improve sentence structures. overall, intriguing plot

The story seems interesting, but I noticed sentences in the past and in the present on the same paragraph. It was hard to concentrate in the story with those changes. Needs a few corrections with this, but overall, a nice read.

Chasing His Kickass Luna Back

Chasing His Kickass Luna Back

“That’s not nutmeg.” “No, it’s not.” I frantically search for the correct spice, but time is slipping through my fingers. “Maybe the labels got messed up.” I pick up another jar, pop open the lid, and inhale. But the jar, labeled ‘cinnamon’ this time, smells like paprika. “Huh?” I mutter, my panic rising. “Paprika in the cinnamon jar? What’s going on here?” Karl is already on the move, reaching into our spice cupboard up to his elbow. He eventually pulls out another jar labeled ‘nutmeg’ and hands it to me. “Here, this one is bound to be the right one. The other must have gotten mixed up.”

Billionaire And His CEO Wife

"The roasted fish suffices to fill my stomach if I place some spices on top of it." "As per the orders of my boss." He immediately put his hand in his pants pocket and took out some spices. "Don't say you always keep spices in your jeans pocket now." I stared at him in disbelief. "No, not at all. I ordered pizza before going to church, and in my rush, I forgot to take the spice pouch out of my pocket." "Oh, but the flavor of the food has improved significantly because of your spices." "Thank you, Mr. Woods." "Oh, is my lovely wife saying thank you to me?"

Reborn As The Villainess Luna In My Favorite Series

Reborn As The Villainess Luna In My Favorite Series

“Good enough.” I picked one up and took a cautious bite. The texture was dense, clinging to the roof of my mouth. Honestly? It wasn't terrible. It was incredibly dry, but not terrible. “This place desperately needs spices,” I mumbled around a mouthful of rice cake, looking for anything resembling pepper or depth of flavor. Jiji blinked again, stopping her work entirely. “What are spices?” I froze. I slowly turned my head to look at her, the half-eaten cake still in my hand. “You people... you don't know what spices are? Cinnamon? Nutmeg? Chili?”

Vic requested and Spiro handed over the sweets. "Hmmn, I like it." Vic said as he swallowed the sweets.

Spicy Hot

Spicy Hot

Léon Dinner unfolds in that strange intimacy. I answer her questions, name the spices, explain why risotto requires patience, why you never serve cheese with fish. She listens, grave, as if each piece of information is precious. She tastes, appreciates, closes her eyes when a flavor surprises her. I don't talk about my work. She doesn't ask. We're suspended, outside time, in this kitchen that has never been used, illuminated by virgin wax candles. When she finishes her plate, she sets her fork down carefully.

Axel reminded. “I’m freestyling!” “You freestyle with rap, not raw egg!” Julian peeked around the corner of the kitchen, wrapped in his blanket like a ghost haunting a house. “How’s it going, chaos duo?” “Marvelous,” Gavin called. “We’re combining sweet with savory. A touch of cocoa and a hint of spice.” “That’s literally chili powder.” “It’s innovation!” “You’re going to burn the house down.” “It’s called excitement!” Axel pulled out a tray and realized they had forgotten to line it. “Wait. Is this where the parchment paper goes?”

Alpha's Bargain, Luna's curse

Alpha's Bargain, Luna's curse

I gave her a puzzled look, bur she nodded and encouraged me to eat up. She had a mix of extra spices in a small bottle which looked familiar. Like a replay of events, she took the bottle and sprinkled the spices on her chicken, and chewed on. I was clueless about what prompted me to stretch out my piece, asking for a sprinkle of the same spice. A smile escaped from her face as she sprinkled the spice on mine. "Thank you ma'am." I took a deep bite into the well cooked meat, savouring the familiar mix of cinnamon, salt and a few other spices which I couldn't name.

Rebirth In Divorce: My New Mr. Perfect

Without looking, she took several big gulps, finally soothing the burn. Embarrassed by the situation, Sarah kept her head down, drinking water to cover up her awkwardness. She wasn’t fond of plain water, usually adding lemon for a bit of flavor, but to her surprise, this glass had a subtle hint of lemon. "The citrus helps counter the spice. Feeling better?" Zachary explained. Sarah dismissed it as coincidence: "Steven really doesn't hold back with the spices for his regulars." Her throat still burned. "I should have warned you," Zachary said, placing some butter-poached lobster. "These aren't spicy. They're best with the garlic aioli sauce."

I remember the first time I had to spell 'spicy'—my brain just blanked for a second. It's one of those words that looks simple but can trip you up if you overthink it. The correct spelling is S-P-I-C-Y. I learned it by associating it with food, like when I’m eating something with a kick and think, 'Wow, this is spicy!' The 'c' always throws people off because it sounds like it could be an 's,' but nope, it’s a hard 'c' sound. Now I just picture a chili pepper with the letters on it, and it sticks.
