Mr. CEO We're Done!
The first time was hurtful, and it had just been a conversation recorded and sent to me, but doing it right in my face was something that I might never be able to explain to anyone.
“Hey, ma’am, you might want to get off the train,” a young man tapped me on my shoulder lightly and said.
“Oh,” I said, almost jumpily.
When I turned and looked around, I realized that the train had stopped and people were getting out of it for the next batch of passengers to get in. I had been so consumed in my thoughts; the very ones I didn’t want to think about that I didn’t realize that we had reached our destination.
“Do you need me to help you up?” He asked politely, stretching his hand.
