It took a while before I could finally get rid of all the annoying creatures. Then I had made the couch grow wings, and accidentally activated the magic spell, and it had been flying round the room for minutes non – stop, chasing me round the corner. I just gave up on everything and went to class, with the couch still flying around of course.

As soon as I heard his words, I pulled my gaze from the mirror and fixed it on the space in front of me. That was all I wanted to hear. "I knew I wasn't a monster!" I muttered to myself. But as the words settled within me, I felt the pang in my heart, weighed heavy, as if it was arguing with my assertion, and as I struggled to remain unwavering in my stance, Sam's voice broke into my thoughts.

The many people in the group had to deal with a water monster each. The monsters were made of water, so no number of attacks caused any damage to them. Some monsters could even reproduce after being split into two. Philip frowned at this scene. Indeed, they were a force to be reckoned with.
