“You know Spring Thing isn’t until next weekend, right?” I grabbed his arm. “Spring Thing is next weekend?” Spring Thing was an annual fair that brought together June Lake and a few of the towns around it. It was a place for local businesses to sell their wares, all the while loading up on fair food and riding carnival rides to their hearts’ content. It’d always been one of my favorite things when I lived here.
