She was petite, maybe a little younger than me, with a sharp bob and thick glasses that made her look smarter than most. She stepped confidently but stopped just short of my desk before giving a respectful bow. “Ma’am,” she began, her voice crisp. “I’m Stacy. One of your main PAs now.
