Nate POV After spending most the day in bed ravaging each other's body we finally got up and showered, separately. We needed to figure out what happened to her the past 24 hours and we were getting nowhere alone in my bedroom. Hope was kidnapped and experimented on in goddess knows what ways, yet, all we could think about was filling each other. A knock came at the door and Hope jumped, afraid what would happened if someone saw her. We literally figured nothing out since she woke other than new ways we could make each other cum.

Hope runs over to me and places her hands over my neck as I begin to lose consciousness. 'Maximus! Don't you fall asleep! You need to stay with me!' she cries. Her hands glow, and her eyes glimmer with silver. The large wound on my neck slowly closes over. Hope wraps her arms around me, 'Maximus!' she says, and helps me to sit up. The warriors in the room are all dead, but new ones enter and bow down around us as their new Alpha and Luna. 'Unchain him!' Hope orders, pointing to her father.

"Dylan knows that Erick knows that..." "I can't condemn him, Kendrick. Not rationally." I listened to Hope's voice and twisted my mouth, still isn't letting go. "I've accepted that Dylan is my Mate. "I will not survive the end of this war." Hope stated and I know she believes it, and there is some truth there, something that Night seems to know because Night could feel the power that carried.

“Ethan, you can stay if you want. It would save you from making a second trip.” I fought the smile that wanted to make its way out. If I wouldn’t have looked like a total ass, I would’ve done a happy dance right there on the porch. “Yeah, I guess. Thanks.” I followed the girls back into the house. Hope sat on the large comfy chair, which left only the sofa for Morgan and me. She sat as close to the edge as possible. I respected her space and did the same. Hope put on some newly released high school romance movie, the ones where the guy and girl constantly break up, but then miraculously figure everything out in ninety minutes and live happily ever after.
