POV: Heather “What secret?” I asked him, acting as if I have no idea of what he is talking about. He smiled crookedly, tipping his head to the side and giving me a strange look. I turned away from his eyes, looking anywhere but at him. There is something about those eyes that makes me so uncomfortable. It seems like he can read my mind through my eyes and it’s so annoying and sweet at the same time.

"A..." He starts to lean in, and I get a good view of his eyes. Starview Magazine, one of the leading gossip papers in the country right now, has listed him as one of the hottest young heirs of our generation. A panel had talked lengthily about his eyes and I remember rolling my own when I saw how cheesy the writing was. For me, they were just Seb's eyes, ones that were as familiar to me as the back of my hand. But now, I can sort of understand why. Seb's eyes are a mystery. They're not quite green and they're not brown, either. Hazel, I think that's what people would call it. And now they're looking into mine, melting me.

Ashley broke the hug and Connie smiled at her. "Sorry... It's just that she's always the one that's saying we shouldn't tell people... Don't ask me why... I have no idea." Ashley said with a smile on her face. I laughed a bit before they faced the front. As if they had planned it, they turned their head towards me at once. I blinked at them. "But... you'll... "No, Yeah, No... Your secret is safe with me." They both smiled in gratitude and then looked at each other with love evident in their eyes.

Why am I different from normal people? While thinking about this, I felt the heat on my eyes. The man loosened his grip on my chin and stared at me with stunned reaction, as if he saw something surprising. “Your eyes,” he said. “It changed color.” ‘He saw my secret. I jerked and opened my eyes only to see the amusing Blake watching me intensively. "I'm sorry," I mumbled while rubbing my eyes to let go of the remaining sleep in my eyes. "Here! He handed me a book where the word "THE HIDDEN SECRETS" written over the girl's naked back along with some random lines, but the line was too small to read. "Yes! Yes! Yes! We did it!!" Unconsciously I kissed his cheeks and we both froze on our spot. It's just a baby kiss, he won't mind, right? But his eyes say otherwise.

Pretend I was invisible. But now? My stomach twisted, sure. My jaw clenched, yeah. But part of me wanted to scream, Cole kissed me. He wanted me. So shove it. Of course, I didn’t scream. I’m not completely suicidal. Still, I walked a little straighter. Cole passed me by third period. He didn’t look. Not once. Just brushed past with his crew, laughing at some dumb joke Kendal cracked. The buzzing inside me died. Right. Reality check: I was still his secret.

I ask sweetly, infusing a little dose of my charm while looking them in the eyes through the elevator mirror. Sweet innocent James blinks multiple times and looks away while Scott clears his throat. “We have to follow orders.” He simply says. I groan out loud. “Just leave it. They are not going to budge.” Layla says from beside me. “Easy for you to say, everyone has been staring, these two are huge attention magnets,” I tell her. “Just ignore it.” She mumbles. I wish I could. The door to the elevator opens and they step out, holding out a hand signaling us to remain inside the elevator while they scan the floor briefly for ‘danger’.

I kept a serious expression and she scoffed, rolling those large green eyes, I didn’t know too many employees that took as much liberty as she did, were anyone else to roll their eyes at me in the same vicinity, they’d be rolling their eyes out of the building along with their personal belongings. “It looks nearly as thick as a textbook. What did you include in here?” Those eyes narrow her eyes suspiciously at me and I momentarily lose my train of thought, I’m suddenly wondering why I never noticed how green her eyes were, long thick lashes fluttering. I’d just like me to notice how attractive my secretary is when she’s sassing me.
