When we arrive there, we immediately attract attention. As much as we are celebrating all of us approaching a new year, tonight is also a big night for both Roman and Nick, a father will officially introduce his son to the world. It's a chance for Roman to meet important people as he will venture into business. When Roman first brought this up, this being a time when we were discussing our future and stuff, I asked him if he was sure about this, if this is what he was truly sure to pursue and when he said yes, with certainty in his eyes, I knew that I would support him.

Carla continues the chitchat at how proud she is of her employers. "Great. Glad to know that" the woman softly mumbles while intently staring at the convoy already leaving. "I'm starting to love this place" she whispers with a smirk. ****tbc****

Wandering through quiet streets, I stumbled upon a quaint cafe. "First time here?" the barista asked, a warm smile on her face. I nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude for the simplicity of the question. "Yes, a fresh start." The barista poured me a cup of coffee, and as I took the first sip, I knew that the departure marked not just an end but a beginning. Conversations with strangers and the distant hum of a new town signaled the start of my journey—one filled with conversations, challenges, and the promise of rediscovery.

Forever. I started thinking about a life for myself. I always had a thing for books. So, I decided to open up a book shop plus library and I shifted out of my parent's house as soon as I left school. I didn't wanna study more. My father and brother funded me with opening the shop and get an apartment, but I worked hard enough to pay them back the money they invested. At that moment, I realized I liked being independent Where my love life is concerned, I had one crush, he used to come to the store everyday and he was really sweet. But something always held me back.

In a feverish haze, I heard the doorbell ring. The delivery guy called out, "Delivery for Mr. Hendrick." I smiled as I took it from the delivery guy and thanked him. I was going to laugh at James for being childish. After all, before falling asleep, I had only mentioned that I had a fever. Yet he had already ordered medicine for me. However, when I opened the delivery bag and saw what was inside, my expression froze. Condoms and lubricant were right there in plain sight, and even the toy in my hand made my head spin. They got ready and headed out on their bikes. POV Sam Sam felt hollow since Ruby had left. He distracted himself with football and girls and had earned himself quite a reputation. He didnt mind though, in fact, he was proud of his fuckboi status. Being football captain had certainly helped him in that regard. He started playing guitar at the beginning of sophomore year just so he could get in with the arty and music chicks. It worked like a charm, too. They all bought his sensitive musician act, of course, until he dumped them after he had his fun.

Suddenly, Alpha Zack stood and yelled, " Everyone shut up!" All mouths were shut as we glued our eyes on Alpha Zack. "I have a solution to all your problems." he began and I felt hopeful for the first time in a long time.

Eric stared down at the body on the stone platform. "Zara, last chance. I'll count to three. Get up." Daisy shook her head. "Three... Two..." Nothing. His jaw tightened. "One!" She didn't move. He swallowed. His voice dropped. "0.9... 0.8... 0.7... "0.1..." Still nothing. His hands hovered, lost. He looked like a clueless pup. "Alright, Zara. Quit messing around. Let's go home..."

Kayson told him, “I would like to start a new company.” Easton replied without thinking, “Small issue. You can count on me for this!”. It took half a minute before he registered what happened, and he stared at Kayson in disbelief. “Kayson, did you say you want to start a company? Are you okay? Do you have a fever?” “I’m serious about it,” replied Kayson. Reva voiced out softly, “Kayson, you do know that starting up a company is not something easily done, right? You would need to know what you want to work on specifically and also have a significant amount of financial funding…”
