Stepmother Novels & Stories

“I’m home.” She studied me for a moment, and I hated that I noticed things I shouldn’t have been noticing. Like how the towel clung to her curves. Like how her legs seemed to go on forever. Like how she was nothing like my mother, and yet here she was, standing in my house like she belonged. “I’m Odessa,” she said, extending a hand that was still slightly damp. “I’m your… stepmother.” The word hit me like a punch to the gut. This stunning woman was really Dad’s new wife? She looked barely thirty-two, not at all like the gold-digging old cougar I'd imagined. More like someone who could completely ruin your life and make you feel grateful for it.

Just grab my bag from the foyer table, just get out— “You’re not going anywhere, you little slut.” The voice came from the living room doorway, sharp and venomous, freezing me in place. I turned slowly, dread coiling in my gut. My stepmother—Victoria—stood there, arms crossed over her designer blouse, her perfectly manicured nails tapping against her elbow. She was a vision of polished cruelty: blonde hair in a sleek chignon, makeup flawless even at whatever ungodly hour this was, lips painted a blood-red that matched the rage in her eyes. She’d married my father five years after my mother’s death, when I was ten, and from day one she’d treated me like an inco

She said with a smile, “I think it needs someone exactly like the two of you.” “This is too much,” Milo said as he laughed for a minute. “I feel like I am in a dream.” “Well, my son, you are not in a dream.” She said. “I know this may be a truly unusual thing to have to deal with, but from the moment I knew of you, I thought of you as one of my brood. You may call me Missy or mom if you wish. Maybe one day, you can work up to that. I am your stepmother, but I wanted you here to get to know all of us from the day you were born.”

But when she stood beside my father, she became gentler than ever: "Honey, don’t be angry. He's just a child. Punish him a few times directly, and he will remember. Like when he pushed Liam into the swimming pool, he just needed adequate punishment to learn his lesson." This woman was my stepmother, Kate William, also the mother of the son my father cherished most - Liam Handerson. As for me, even though I was the elder son with outstanding intelligence, I had never felt any affection in this mansion since my mother left.

Taking my arms under his, he lifted me from the bed and said, "Last time I'll shower you too." In his arms, he takes me to my bathroom and bathes me. We both showered and a few minutes later, he came out. He helped in change the bed cover then he dressed me up. All of this, I was surprised at myself. I think I have just started going crazy just by looking at my stepdad. In the bed, where I lay I muttered, "Don't come any closer Aiden. Let's pretend nothing happened this tonight, I feel so... this is my mom's love, my mother loves you."

"Babe, He is my Son, Leo, ang may birthday ngayon,"

I said, pointing angrily at her. Aunt Mary stood up to me and pointed back at my face. “I am your stepmother, a replacement for your dead mother. Respect me like you respect your father. If you realize that you've been overreacting to your father's shame.” I snorted loudly, jerking her index finger roughly. We were facing each other, so I could freely return her hostile gaze. Her height was only up to my chest, so I had to look down if I spoke to her.

“My mother left when I was a few months old,” Jade said as she looked at him, he could see in her eyes the pain of thinking about it. “I was passed around to different family members I was finally given back to my father. Since I was about a year old, he was the one who who is there. So when he who is getting married again a few years ago, I was really excited that my dad finally gave me a mother. I am currently in my wide old room. The old lady who introduced herself as the head of the maids of the mansion guided me here earlier. I just saw that old lady for the first time. She is the new mayordoma of the family. The lady who stands now as my stepmother is the former head maid of our family. When she left my family, I ran away to find her and when I did, I was glad when he welcomed and adapted me with open arms.

Steph asks as she leans against the door with her arms crossed in front of her chest, and I shake my head, way too angry to speak. I haven’t seen my mother for over ten years, and suddenly she appears out of thin fucking air demanding that I work for her? Hell no. I am not going to allow this to happen. “Control,” I let out through gritted teeth. “What?” Steph asks as she frowns, moving from the door and standing in front of me with her arms crossed in front of her chest. “Control, she thinks she can control me,” I say, and Steph lets out the loudest laugh I have ever heard coming out of her mouth.
