I answered, loosing the last button on my shirt, I was in a changing room actually. “ training!? Sorry to pry but what training is that? " I rolled my eyes. “ it's a training for the fashion competition, I'm sure you must have heard of it." I said as I put my clothes into my bag. “ you can sew!? I never knew " she exclaimed, I'm pretty sure it was fake. Walking past her, I turned “ well now you do" I answered. I stopped when I saw the bracelets on her hands. “ isn't that for Terrance " I said aloud. Stacy looked startled and then checked her wrists, I saw her blush.

“The first stitch you’ll learn is the whip stitch. It’s the fastest and easiest of all. You can use it to join torn fabric and seal a hole.” Following Annabel’s example, Zen lined the two separate cloths and inserted his needle on the underside of the fabric. Then, he pulled the needle through and repeated the motion. The pattern was simple and repetitive, but Zen’s clumsiness made his stitching uneven. Compared to Annabel’s perfectly spaced stitches on the invisible line, Zen’s stitches were wonky and unstable. He was the best patient she could ask for, compliant and silent, letting her do as she wished. When she was satisfied with her job that she had pulled impossibly faster, she sighed, yet again meeting his miserable eyes.
