“Which are you?” He smiled properly this time. “Both, I suspect.” The clerk returned with more scrolls and a bundle of thin wood tablets wrapped in linen. “From the sealed list,” he whispered to Elias, nervous. “Only for supervised reading.” Elias nodded without looking away from Seraphina. “Leave them. I will sign.” The clerk scurried off. Elias unwrapped the linen. Inside lay a tablet with a charred edge. The symbols etched on it were old and simple. He turned it so the light fell straight across the grooves.

He’d positioned himself strategically between two packs that I recognized from the map as potential allies. The doors closed, and an ancient wolf with grey hair and weathered features stood at the head of the table. “Welcome, Alphas of the North. I am Elder Tobias, neutral arbiter of this summit.” His eyes swept the room. “We have much to discuss. Including the presence of our… unexpected guest.” All eyes turned to me again. “Aria Silvermoon,” Tobias continued. “Last heir of the royal bloodline. Celestial Wolf. You’ve caused quite a stir in our territories.”

Andy asks once we're out of the throne room, I was skipping around happy about getting out, not minding that he's the one babysitting me. "I heard that there's a room with games in it!" I say skipping from one room to another trying to find that specific room. "I think that would be the last one on that side" he says knowing which room it is, I ran ahead of him toward that room, opening the door, I found a pool table, a bar, baby-foot, some arcade games, few seats here and there! He placed everything on a large plate, served fresh orange juice and a glass of water with lemon. He brought the plate to Xander and sat beside him. He picked up a fork. “Open your mouth.” Xander blushed violently. “I can eat by myself…” “I know,” Aslan said, his voice low. “But I want to take care of you. Open.” Xander opened his mouth. Aslan brought the fork with scrambled eggs to his lips. Xander ate. He let out a soft moan — it was delicious. Aslan smiled, satisfied. He continued feeding him, alternating with pieces of toast, strawberries, and light kisses on his temple between each bite.

Alexa turned to look at Aslan, her gaze sharp and questioning, as she noticed Lucas staring directly at him. Aslan didn’t respond, keeping his intense gaze fixed on Lucas. “Did you two fight?” Alexa asked, her eyes darting between them. “Are you going to remove your hands from the car door, or should I take your arms with it?” Aslan asked Lucas coldly, his voice hard and unyielding.

Ancient runes etched into the surrounding stones shimmered faintly as the moon reached its zenith. Hannah knelt at the center of the pedestal, her face pale but resolute. Liliana stood before her, small and determined, the moonlight bathing her silver dress. In front of them, neatly arranged on a low stone altar, were the medicines Clementine had prepared with the pack’s apothecary, vials of shimmering liquids, powdered herbs, and carefully measured elixirs.
