As in: here is a person and here is someone who knows it. She thinks about a man who puts a blanket over a sleeping woman and texts her mother so she does not worry and leaves the kitchen light on and goes back to his study. She thinks about all the ways a person can be attentive. All the ways attention can look like one thing and be another. She thinks about whether she is being fair to him and whether fairness is even the point. She thinks about the way he looked at her in the kitchen. The way she looked back. She does not let herself think about it for more than a moment.

As she passed the hallway near the auditorium, she caught the voices of a few students chatting in the corner. “Hey, did you hear? They say a government official is having an affair with a beautiful lecturer here,” one of them whispered excitedly. “Oh, that one? That’s old news. Not just officials. Even bosses and their secretaries are practically an open secret,” another student chimed in, followed by a small burst of laughter.

I moaned when she bit my lip and sucked on my tongue as if it was her next meal. Then it hit me. I was kissing my friend and ex roommate. I was kissing Blake's wife. I was kissing Lacy just a few days after I kissed her husband. What the fuck was I doing?

Clandestine Affair, book 1 of Affair Duology, is finally completed! This is the first novel I’ve completed so far and it is a long and hard journey as procrastination always gets the best of me. I enjoyed writing this and I will start writing book 2 of the Affair Duology as soon as I finished editing and revising book 1. All the revelations will be revealed and explained in the second book. If you came to hate Vishnu in the first book, his actions would be justified (I hope so) in the second book.

I say. "Yeah,the students are used to his lateness already so at times they don't bother attending the class" he says. "What does he then do with his time? I know his office is just a building away so I see no reason for him coming late to class" I say as I place my books on the desk. "I think he's having an affair with the Religion professor" he says in a low voice and I gasp. "Cole!" I squeak "What? I'm telling the truth" he shrugs.
