Giselle smiled at her mates. The triplets looked at each other and it felt like they were talking to each other with their eyes. “You say it!” Riven pushed Stefan towards Giselle. “You are the eldest”. Stefan pushed Kevin and hid behind. “You are the playboy!” Kevin and Riven pushed Stefan in front again. Finally, Kevin had to take the initiative, “Um. Giselle, we didn’t think we would say it like that” “But since you are going to be the mother of our kid, we can’t wait anymore” Riven added right after him.

Everyone in the room stood frozen in shock, staring at the man who looked exactly like Zayne except for that jagged scar. I stuttered, my brain struggling to process what I was seeing. “This… this isn’t possible. You can’t be his brother. Zayne has a twin sister—Kira. Just one sibling. Not… not you.” The man—Zayne’s supposed brother—shrugged casually, as if revealing he was secretly a triplet was no big deal. “There’s something called triplets, you know. My stomach was getting unsettled with their looks and they were making me lose my appetite. I had noticed that the triplets always did the same thing at the same time and I wondered how they did it. Did they have a meeting before the start of the day about how they were going to behave or they had a telepathic communication between them and they discussed every minute in their heads? I snorted in my head. I hadn't read about wolves having mental communicative abilities and I knew that couldn't be it. Could it be the first idea I had?

His expression hardened immediately. “What did he do?” I wiped my face quickly and tried to explain everything. How Kharl had confronted me in his office. How he had revealed that he knew Amelia was not his child. How he had been investigating Celeste. And finally— The worst part. “The witch had triplets,” I whispered bitterly. I showed Skye the three pictures at the same time. “This is Sunny, this is you, and Starr.” I begin to explain. “Starr? Who is she? Why do Sunny and I have the same name?” Skye was referring to where they got their names. I didn’t know my son was this smart. Yet, my tongue, again, would not obey me. “Dianna, Maya, do either of you have any instances of multiple births in your family?” Dianna had been lifting her cup to her mouth as I spoke.
