My brother and I have always been close, so close that sometimes I dress up like him so that we can hang out in all boys places and we can play twins. At first, it had been a problem especially because I had gone on a date with his girlfriend on his behalf because he was sick. He had been so pissed off but he got over it and over the time, it became fun for him too. It was all fun and games until my brother got sick and my parents had to send me to this town to leave with my grandmother while they travel the world looking for the best hospital for him. I don't know his illness, they never told me but I guess it's something serious. I miss my brother's presence so much that when I got to this new town, no one knows that I'm a girl, except my grandmother but I also hid my style of dressing from her. At home, I'm the perfect granddaughter but at school, I'm the drop dead gorgeous badboy that every girl wants to date. It was so cool, so cool and I was enjoying the attention until one day it all changed. The day I met him. Xavier Grey, the new transfer student and Teresa's -my girlfriend- cousin.

Nandito na ako sa kotse." wika ulit ni Roldan. Nag-umpisa na din ito magdrive. Maya-maya pa ay nareceived na din niya ang location kong saan naroon si Carissa. Agad niya itong pinuntahan at natagpuan sa isang upuan. Nakayuko ito at halatang hirap sa paghinga. Nang mahawakan ni Roldan ay agad niyang itinaas ang mukha ni Carissa. Nagulat siya sa hitsura nito. Maputla ito at nakapikit na. Bakas sa mukha nito ang mga luha at paghihirap. Agad na niyakap ni Roldan ang kanyang kaibigan. Maya-maya pa ay naramdaman niya itong lumungay-ngay sa kanyang balikat. Bumagsak din ang mga kamay nito. Nataranta si Roldan ng marealized niya na nawalan ng malay si Carissa . Agad niya itong binuhat at isinakay sa kotse. Pinaharurot agad niya papuntang hospital.

Many times I have seen people struggling to talk with strangers or in public places. This was due to anxiety and nervousness that happens unintentionally in our body. We can’t control them but have to overcome them. I came across the word “Glossophobia” in 2014 when I was working on how to overcome stage fears. I have seen my friends and myself struggling to talk with strangers or to speak in public. There are cases where I have acted speechless. This is where the idea arrived and I have created a character “Abhirath Srivastav” who cannot talk with strangers or in public places due to a phobia called “Glossophobia”. The Character Abirath Srivastav does not represent any real life personality, it is solely of my imagination. The story “ The only hope” is a love story set in the style of 1994. The story is about an orphan boy who suffers from glossophobia; he can't talk to strangers or in public places. He finds it hard to stay in an orphanage and escapes to find a better place in his life. He meets a Christian girl in an unknown village and becomes her best friend. He speaks to her, but not to any other villagers. Things are not, however, what was expected. Half of the villagers migrate to another place for work, and they take the boy with them. The boy has to leave his favourite place and his only best friend. After 12 years, however, he meets her and here how the story takes its turn.
