I guess he can tell because he laughs. "This is probably the pack's favorite shop." So he tells me, and I see the sign it reads Grannys Sweets. He is heading for the door, and I don't stop him because I want to go inside and never leave that smell. I’m just going to eat the last lemon tart to save my sanity.” I opened the box, only to find it completely empty. Nothing left but a few sad crumbs. I stared at the empty box, then slowly lifted my gaze to Garrett, who suddenly looked very guilty. “Did you seriously eat the last dessert?” I gasped. “Garrett, I literally tagged that yesterday! I told you I wanted it for breakfast!”

He wiped my tears and rubbed my arm in a friendly manner. We said goodbye to Archie, he didn't see me cry, thanks to Nate. We walk around town aimlessly, he showed me all the shops, the movie theater, the park, and eventually rest our feet at a small cake shop owned by a lovely little old lady. I was loving the shop name already. "Sweets." I smiled widely at Nate making him laughed. "You're so going to be a diabetic with your sweets craving. Come let's see what will tickle your senses here. My brother said they have the best cake and the lady can make really realistic looking ones." He took my hand as we walk to the counter to pick a cake.

I was curious. She simply shrugged. "It's now a small confectionary store. The owner Mister Wilson passed, so the wife sold it. It was the saddest day of my life. I lost another home... Sorta." Her expression changed abruptly again from surprise to softening, and a sweet smile returned to her lips. "Sorry, I didn't know. You don't like sweets, but you always accept everything I gave to you. You appreciate everything I do," she said to me.

I never liked any kind of sweets but why not try this? I opened the chocolate cover and took a bite. Sweets can seems nice too!
