Alpha Maddox's Mortal Temptation

Alpha Maddox's Mortal Temptation

“It was worth a try.” “Why do I look like I just spent twelve hours in labor?” “Because your body was trying to shift. Which is a strenuous and energy-intensive activity.” “I didn’t, though.” “Your cells still worked for it.” I push back my damp, lanky hair. “Maybe I won’t be able to do it again. Shifting, I mean.” Even if Dr. Henshaw said that people with CSD usually can shift almost till the end. How fun, to be the exception to the rule.

Claudius, a Delta's fight for Love

Claudius, a Delta's fight for Love

It was as though he was afraid Timothy would disappear, and he would once again be left alone. Kennedy slept on the opposite side of Timothy, away from Colton. Two times during the night the little guy shifted to his cheetah and then an hour later, shifted back. It amazed Colton to see someone so young shift so easily, and so fast. As much as it amazes Colton, it also worries him. Usually when one shifts before they're supposed to, it's because of trauma, abuse, fear, or abandonment. That means the sweet little boy that is now theirs, experienced something traumatic that caused him to shift so early. That thought alone causes Colton's chest to tighten and he closes his eyes to collect himsel

Abigail is the best writer. Every one of her books I've read is amazing. You fall in love with each character from the very beginning. I have found myself checking several times a day for updates especially when she hasn't posted in a few days. Right now, the book is getting exciting....

I absolutely love this author she knows how to write something that will get your emotions stirring. I have already read almost all of her other books, but this one so far has totally got me crying almost every single chapter. It’s absolutely amazing! Can’t wait for it to be completed and fully done

He pushed his hair back off his face and sat back in the chair. “The positive from this experience is it looks like you can control your shift now,” he said. “Control is not the word I would use,” I mumbled as I pressed the heel of my palm back to my pounding head. “I feel like I got hit by a brick.” “That’s normal for beginning shifts,” Valentin replied. “You’re trying to swap back and forth between two bodies. It take a lot of brain power.” I nodded once then shifted uncomfortably. “Now what?”

Worthless to Priceless: The Alpha's Rejected Mate

“It was probably because I trained for the first time today. I didn’t know my own limits. I’ll be fine by tomorrow.” “Tell me what exactly is wrong with you?” I wasn’t expecting Devin to speak and all our eyes snapped up to his. “My heart is beating fast,” I began slowly. “My muscles are sore and Clara says I have a fever. It is probably just exhaustion from training. There is no need for any of you to worry.” “I don’t think it is training,” “What do you mean?” I asked and he stared straight into my eyes as he said his next words. “I think you might be shifting.”

123 chapters, then nothing since March 28th. At the very least, write a conclusion to finish the book and post it. For the writer's sake, I hope all is well in their world. For my sake and the sake of other readers, please finish the book. It's unfair to us readers to ask for pymnt, then not finish

You know, I love this book, but I don’t like how it takes forever for this author to update….. and I know why. Every one of her books are unfinished and being serialized still and there’s over ten of them. This is ridiculous! I gave up on another book that’s being serialized cause it’s never endng

The Son of Red Fang

The Son of Red Fang

I can’t help but whine as I watch him endure a painfully hard shift that his wolf seemed to force upon him. I watch him closely, wondering if my opinion of the situation is wrong. Could his apology be sincere? Outside of injuries, shifting is supposed to become natural. Only the first and sometimes second shift is supposed to be painful enough that a strong pain medication after they shift back to human is used. After about six months of shifting regularly it may be uncomfortable but should not be overly painful. Yet shifts that occur when both parties don’t agree to the shift are known to be exceptionally painful and he certainly sounds like he’s suffering. “Into the woods! That’s an order!

I’m the author of this book and I apologize for not getting on here sooner. This is book one of a four book series. At least I hope to fit Cole’s story into four. After 262 chapters this book had to end and I’m currently working on the next. Return to Crimson Dawn eta June 2023.

It was physically painful to keep reading—but I don't mean that in a negative way. I connected with all of the characters. I loved the book. However, it takes a truly strong mentality to read such traumatic content. I used to consider myself one of those people, but this book shattered my heart.

I Will Find You

I Will Find You

In the small back room we use for emergencies, I let the shift pull me back upright. People like to talk about the pain of shifting one way or the other as if there’s a difference. There isn’t. It costs both directions. Coming back to two feet means joints complain, muscle fiber rearranges, skin crawls for a fraction of a second as fur goes to sleep. Teeth slide into gums in a way that would make a human throw up if they watched. The worst part is hands—knuckles remaking themselves into smaller bones with more nuance. You feel clumsy until they remember what they can do.

Rejected Luna: He wants me back

Rejected Luna: He wants me back

"What are the signs someone is close to shifting?" Rayn furrows his brow, eyes dropping to the ground in thought. "There are a few signs, but the most common one is getting sick a lot. The body's getting used to having a wolf, kind of messing with everything inside." He answers. The truth hits me like a ton of bricks. Memories of the past six months before we left each other flash back into my mind. Rena was constantly getting sick during that time. Doctors couldn't figure it out, and she'd bounce back quickly. We just thought it was the weather because of her quick recovery. But now, it smacks me in the face - her body was gearing up to shift.

Also, I love the characters in this book! I’m sad that story the main characters is finished but then we get to revisit them in the sequel. It made me laugh and cry but luckily laughed a lot! Even the FL’s wolf is great! I love it when the wolves also communicate to them and have quite the character

I love this book. The author did an amazing job with the MLs redemption arc. I've read waaaaay too many books where the ML was horrendous and only wanted th FL back because of whatever improvements to her life/appearance made her "worthy." This lead is different. He actually improves himself.

Shift

Shift

I rubbed my shoulders, trying to work out the muscle that just clenched up. Kat pursed her lips together before shrugging. “We don’t really know. All shifts are different. Depends on the person. Alpha’s tend to be explosive where as Omegas tend to slip into their wolves. With you, it’s even more in the air. Being this old…and having it be held back rather than just naturally you shifting this late…there is a lot of things that could happen.” I nodded and didn’t say anything. It was a bit disconcerting not knowing what was going to happen. Knowing your in for pain but not knowing if and when it would hit. At the very least, when dealing with my father, I usually insighted it with my big mouth

10 out of 10! This book had me hooked from start to finish and has me wanting more! Not saying that you have to but this would make a great series, a book for each main character, I'd read them all! Glad to hear you're feeling better, keep taking care of yourself and writing these awesome stories! ...

So far, so good. I like the author's writing style and ability to have both strong and weak female & male characters. There are some grammar and spelling errors, but minor and easy to overlook. Better communication regarding updates would be appreciated, but this platform is not for career money.

Rejected Luna : Alpha's Promise, King's Claim

“When you shift, your body goes through a lot of physical and hormonal changes. Usually, it’s not a big deal. But when a life is growing inside you, the rearrangement of the bones and the changes in hormones will affect the embryo’s development. It’s like when you rearrange a room, you have to move things around. Too much movement or pressure on your womb during that shift can cause complications.” My face turns pale. “W-will my pup be in danger?” “Don’t worry. These complications tend to happen in unshifted pregnant women so we can handle it. All you need to do is keep a nurse around you. Usually it's difficult to predict when you’ll shift so keeping one around will help you during that cir
