SWEET SPOT
“I need to talk to my little sister right now.”
I grunted and rolled my eyes. I hated when he called me that, but I couldn’t exactly argue. I had just turned twenty, two days ago, quietly, without anyone noticing. My brother was twenty-nine while Ezekiel was twenty-eight. Quite the age gap you would say.
Still… being called “little sister” felt childish.
“What?” I asked, staying on my bed.
“Can you open up? I want to talk to you.”
“You can say whatever you want from there,” I answered, hugging my big brown teddy bear tighter against my chest.
