Pushed back against the wall and held there with a concrete block, the kind of casual propping-open that you did when you expected people to be moving through regularly and did not want to bother with the door each time. Jax examined the block without touching it. He crouched beside it, his scanner running over the surface, his eyes reading what his hands were not making contact with. "No sensor," he said quietly. After ending the call, Xavier immediately went to Jaxon’s room. Jaxon was lying on the bed again, staring at the ceiling.When he saw Xavier enter, he pushed himself up slightly. “Dad?” Xavier walked over and sat beside him. “I have good news.” Jaxon blinked slowly.“What is it?” “I found a doctor who might be able to help.” Jaxon’s tired eyes brightened slightly.“Really?” “Yes.”Xavier smiled gently.“He’s in Los Angeles.” Jaxon tilted his head slightly.“You’re going there?” “I am.”He reached over and adjusted the blanket around Jaxon.“I’ll leave soon.”

Ricciardo asked. "Well it gives me hope that maybe a bad person can be redeemed at last and forgiven." "I will read it and let you know if I like it." Ricciardo said. "Okay, so I presume you are going to bed now?" Jax asked. "Yes I am, unless you want me to keep you company" Ricciardo offered. "No i am good. Goodnight." "Goodnight" Ricciardo said and went back to his room. Jax on the other hand went back to his study where he would keep working until he would fall asleep, maybe, just maybe, he would be too tired for the nightmares,he thought to himself.

“Let me see them…” The nurse gently placed the babies in her arms. Jax, groaning, finally sat up from the floor and blinked blearily at the sight before him. “Did I die?” he asked. “Am I in heaven?
