Audrey My phone buzzed in my pocket just as I was finishing up the last of my homework for the evening. Frowning, I dug it out, expecting a text from Avis or Tina about our group project. Instead, it was a new text from a familiar number that had me grinning like an idiot before I could stop myself. “What are you up to tonight?”

“Besides, you don’t know who I met that day.” Just then, my phone began to ring.

"No, you don't. If you did-" The sound of my ringing phone interrupted him and I gave him an apologetic smile. "It's okay, you can take the call. I'll wait until you're done." Fishing out my phone from the pocket of my jeans, I brought it to my line of vision. I raised a brow when I saw the caller ID. "Zeke? Is everything alright?" I asked once I picked the call. "Where are you, Ava?" He asked and I frowned. "Uh..."

Call the phone number. If they were the ones who sent the messages, their phone would ring when I dialed.

My phone rings and it ruined my morning routine. I just enjoyed a day off. I sigh and look at the phone screen. Alaia’s name pops up on my phone screen, I pick up the phone “Hello...” I say. “I got a problem!” Alaia says in dismay. “What happened?” I say as my jaws going to drop. “I can’t talk on the phone, you need to come here!” Alaia says.

“Of course I will.” Her face lit up. “Thank you, Kay.” “No problem.” At that moment— My phone started ringing from my room. Melina tilted her head. “I think your phone is ringing.” I stood up immediately. “I’ll be right back.” I walked quickly to my room and picked up my phone from the bed. My heart skipped as soon as I saw the caller ID. It was Damian. I answered immediately. “Hello? Damian?” “Hey, Akayda.” His voice sounded… tired.

' hey, how are you? ' we have a second date remember ( smiley face emoji)' ' let's meet' ' why are you not replying to my messages?' ' Are you alright Adia, you're not picking my calls are returning them either, call me' 'is everything alright over there' ' call me' Adia read aloud, these was all the messages, he left hanging for her. ' sorry I wasn't able to reply or call back, had lots of things to take care of, but I'm perfectly okay, I'll call you later' she texted back, tucking her phone into her purse, alighting from the stairs.

I mumbled. I looked at my watch and figured that it would be a while before Ace would arrive here if that was the case. Although I wanted to see him already, I was thankful for the chance to get everything ready before he made his appearance. At least that was what I thought until the phone in my hand started vibrating non-stop. I glanced down at the phone screen to see that Ace was calling me. “Hello…” I answered the call while walking way from the other team members. “Are you still at the auditorium?” Ace asked.

He slowly brings his face closer to mine but stops when we hear a loud vibration. I realize it's my phone so I take it out of my pocket and freeze when I look at the text he sent me. 'Nugget I need you now' it said. That was enough for me to stop my whole life in order to make sure he was ok.

I took my phone from my purse and called a familiar number. "Hello, Adam. I'm sorry to disturb you but I need your help!"
