“You’ve got this!” Taking a deep breath, I steadied my hand on the grip of the gun. I aimed carefully, blocking out the chaos around me. The sound of bullets whizzing by only fueled my determination. I could do this; I had to do this. With a sharp exhale, I squeezed the trigger. The gun fired with a loud bang, and I felt the recoil jolt through my arm. I watched as my bullet struck true, hitting one of the rear tires with a satisfying pop. The van lurched violently, swerving as the driver fought to regain control.

We will not fail today. Bullets whizzed down towards my feet as many men in black tried to shoot us from above on the stairwell. A girl next to me fell as blood spilled from her shoulder. She screamed and clawed her way to standing as we pounded up the stairs. Hope made contact with the first man and shot him in the thigh. It must have been a good spot because he screamed as blood gushed out faster than I had ever seen before. He sank to his knees, pushing on the facet of blood leaking out. I took his gun as Beef shoved him down with her foot before stomping his head in. The delicate flesh around his temple caved in with the impact.

I was too weak to accept it so easily that's why I fell. I shivered and felt very tired. I seemed to have escaped the strength of my body as I sat down. I can't believe that slap will calm me down little by little. I woke up to the truth then I cried. Steven is gone... No! I can't handle it! Don't be so early! Bullet defended himself “Shut the f*ck up idiot….tell me…who were the guys that shot you? Can you recognize them from any rival gang?” Bullet nodded negatively “Speak up bastard” Tom yelled at him “No!!! no…they are not from any rival gang. They wore casual wears just like everyone in the party, one can’t recognize them from any group” Bullet resorted in a loud voice. Tom scoffs “Huff, fine….fine…” “Please boss….I promise you…I will get her next time….” Tom cuts in before he could complete his statement “There will be no next time…because I’m giving the job to someone else…Tiger..” he called, as the owner of the name steps out

Whiskey. I have been moulded into the perfect weapon, able to kill and destroy anyone that I come face to face with. And this human thought he could take me out with a mere bullet. So naive and clueless. His mouth dropped open as he realised that he missed me both times, then he proceeded to empty his magazine. Firing shot after shot until he had nothing left. My body moved and glided through the air, dodging the bullets effortlessly. As I straightened my posture and glared over at him, he dropped the gun and raised his hands in surrender. They look like normal silver bullets, but when I take one out and turn it around, I can see the runes carved into the metal jacket. “Magic?” Zael asks. I nod and put the bullet back in the box before it can burn through my skin. “Who has the honour of killing this one?” I ask. “Well,” Zael says and pushes his foot harder into the Prime Minister’s chest. “I haven’t eaten yet tonight.”

Hearing the rushed footsteps outside, she slapped herself and knelt beside the bed, tears in her eyes. “I know you’re angry that Mom, Dad, and Jared care about me, and I know I will never compare to you because I’m adopted, b-but… “But how could you call me a murderer?! I hate what my birth parents did, so how could I follow in their footsteps? You can scold me and shout at me as much as you like, but I won’t sit here and let you insult me like that!” She looked at me proudly. I looked at her and whispered, “Let’s hope your happiness lasts for a few more days, because if I were the family of those kids you killed, I wouldn’t stop until my child’s murderer was put behind bars.”
