bride of vengeance

bride of vengeance

The City of Bones. I'd heard the name only once before, years ago, back when I still believed the world ended at the edge of the palace gardens. A traveler had passed through in winter, drunk on cheap wine and colder nights, and he'd sat by the kitchen fire telling stories to anyone who'd listen. Most of what he said had been forgotten by morning — travelers always exaggerated, everyone knew that. But one story had stayed with me. A city swallowed by the earth, he'd said, voice low, eyes darting toward the shadows like even speaking the name might summon something. A city cursed by gods who no longer had names anyone remembered. A city nobody who entered ever returned from.

OF LUST AND LOVE (Book Two Of Mafia Series)

OF LUST AND LOVE (Book Two Of Mafia Series)

Rafael Two Weeks Later One last dinner party before the Mafia tzar and his family were set to go back to San Francisco. Women laughing, children ran around the banquet table while aunts and nannies they could finally trust followed their charges with fond smiles. The evening was perfect. He and Maman, his angel's mother finally had that conversation. He shuddered. Finally knowing who she was. A deadly woman that had settled down with the previous mafia king. It made sense when Dinara's father commiserated with El Patrón. Trusting his wife to do the talking.

I don’t like the new cover… as the female character is portrayed as an innocent looking blonde. Unicorn status. Coupled with the bad boy Mexican mafia leader. I didn’t like the other one either.. the girl looked trashy

When the author was gone for so long, I would imagine my own continuation to the story. I can say that there’s a reason I am not a writer LMAO I couldn’t have made the story better than what the author delivered. Not even close! That was one hell of a ride from where the author picked up. SOO GOOD!!

A God’s Tale

A God’s Tale

She knew that banishing the nasty and cruel would also mean her father, but the worlds would be better off without people like him. The city was larger than any Elika had ever seen, the building reaching high into the clouds, each one having what the princess knew to be electricity. She couldn’t believe her eyes as she saw people talking into small devices she had only seen in books ... devices they called mobile phones. She had never seen them before and doubt she would again, but it was interesting to see more than a few people using something that was almost alien to her. Hell was almost exactly like the photos she had seen of earth, she assumed it was just as technically advanced, amazin

Finding my way to you

Finding my way to you

NewT city was a new city planned by T city municipality. T city was populating faster. Rather than risk an unplanned city full of issues, they, in advance, decided to build a planned city called NewT city, just two hours away from T city towards the mainland. It saved a lot of trouble as it preserved T city in its natural state, created more jobs, better housing options, managed town planning, infrastructure, better facilities, and a great deal more space to develop further.

Between Two Loves

Between Two Loves

said Mrs Jonathan. "Melbourne is not friendly, ma'am. Maybe I won't come back there again." "Why?" "It's okay. The city holds a lot of moments." "Oh yeah?" said Brandy. "Yeah, I'm disappointed with the city. Sorry, just kidding." Abraham forced a little laugh. I took a deep breath. I just let Abraham speak to his heart's content. *** Had it not been for Brandy, I would not have been willing to accompany Abraham to the airport. Wherever Abraham wanted to set foot, I would not be weighed down by that man's departure at all.

Desire (Wish, Book Two)

Desire (Wish, Book Two)

There are a lot of things about this note that don’t make sense to me but I pocket it for now. “Alright,” I harden my jaw. “Who would want to kill him?” Dolores shrugs, “I don’t know.” “Then why did you tell me that he was a coward and he left me behind!” I raise my voice, my heart hurting. “Because he did!” Dolores bursts out. “He was all you had and he left you behind! There were a thousand better solutions than death but he chose the easy way out rather than facing his problems!” I fall silent at her words, my hands clenching into fists, “There’s something else I want to know.”

The city, with its familiar skyline and the promise of unexpected encounters, awaited like an open book, ready to script new chapters in the narrative of my life. My Husband, Warm The Bed!

My Husband, Warm The Bed!

Coast City was a large city in Country A. It was a city with four seasons. In spring, flowers bloomed aplenty, covering the city in pastel colours, while winter brought to the city heaps of fluffy white snow. The heavy snow was here for several days already, and even at this time, there were no signs of it stopping. Karen Joy Kyle sat by the window and looked at the snowflakes which were flying under the street lights. Her mind was full of thoughts about Griffin Cooper and his son, Nathaniel.

Vows of sin

Vows of sin

The city was a beast that never slept, its breath a smoky haze mingling with the cold night air. From the balcony of my penthouse overlooking the sprawling metropolis, the lights below flickered like the dying embers of a war no one could avoid. Tomaso’s injury was a wound that bled into every corner of this city’s underworld — an empire on the edge of collapse, its pillars shaking beneath the weight of betrayal and ambition.
