He yelled. “I have no idea. She just left without saying much words.” Arabella lied. Asher stumbled backwards as if he had lost his balance and he broke down in tears. Adam ran towards him to pull him up. The expression on everyone's face was grim with each person having his or her own thoughts. The wedding would be called off no doubt since the bride was nowhere to be found. Releasing himself from Adam's grip, he ran into his room and picked up his phone to dial her number. It was switched off. Asher screamed out in pain. His hands grabbed his chest, he could feel it constricting and slowly he was losing his breathe.

The other couples turned to look. Asher reached into his pocket and pulled out a small velvet box. "Amelia Brooks," he said. "I know we signed a contract. I know we said one year. I know this is fast and crazy and probably a little stupid." He opened the box. The ring was beautiful. A round diamond set in platinum, flanked by two smaller stones. It caught the candlelight and threw tiny prisms across the walls. "But I don't want a contract marriage," he said. "I want a real one. With you."

"I guess Trevor still has a lot of touring to promote it after the movie, so I won't rush him into marriage." Ashley cleared her throat. When the two people in front of her turned to look at her, she shyly showed her finger. A white gold ring with a star-shaped diamond sparkled on it. "I think it'll be me and Tristan first," Ashley said quietly. Sonya and Regina were stunned for a moment, then both hugged Ashley simultaneously, pressing her between them in a tight embrace. "Oh, I'm so happy," Regina said. "Finally, there'll be someone who can tell Tristan off if he takes too long shifts at the hospital."

Just her, and me, and a ring I had chosen with the full understanding of what it meant to offer it. "I kept you hidden for four years," I said. "And I have thought about that every single day since you walked away from me. I am not going to ask you to forget that.
