I tried to convince myself. I couldn’t bring myself to wear my sandals so I wore one of the other socks that I’d brought. It was from the Toy Story franchise and it was bright yellow. I put on the flip-flops I found in the room. Sadly, my feet were too small for it. The flip-flops were twice my feet length. I hadn’t brought any other shoes except the sandals.
