Finding The Heart of Magic

Finding The Heart of Magic

Were they the first to find the supreme good? But the people, having weapons they had invented, managed to resist the dragons' attack and eventually repel them strongly. After this defeat, the dragons decided to watch the people from a distance. When they realized that they did not have any supreme goods in their possession, their hopes revived, and they decided to continue their seeking. Their faith and devotion to their purpose compensated them by finding the unique gem that for centuries awaited the one who would make it his acquisition.

The Dragon King's Pet

The Dragon King's Pet

Her eyes never left her husband who was leaning against his chair. “We've ruled this kingdom for nine hundred years before Vincent's father took over. And now, his son." Mr Gael started. He pushed to rest his face on his right hand with a long sigh. " I've never set my eyes on a dragon this huge Roseline. That dragon isn't a shifter. It's what we have been looking for for the past generations,” he concluded. Roseline dropped the teacup on the well polished jade tray and raised her head to meet his eyes. "What are you trying to suggest? Coincidence happen–”

Dawlya’s Dragon

Dawlya’s Dragon

“That is why all twenty-one Keepers must arrive and leave alive. Because if they don't, if the conclave becomes a slaughter then the council wins.” Maerin’s voice dropped. “And the dragons?” Althea looked toward the open sky where clouds covered the stars. “Then the dragons finish what they started.” Maerin shuddered. Althea didn’t blame her. Even Dawlya who hated draynor still feared the sheer inevitability of them. Dragons did not need subtlety. They didn’t need manipulation or secret geometry. Their power was blunt, absolute, and ancient. If the council forced another strike like the one over Ashbarrie if they tried to puppet Sereth again the dragons would not negotiate. They would erase.

The Dragon Lord Who Never Believed Me

The Dragon Lord Who Never Believed Me

My fated mate shut me out of our bond for the ninety-ninth time just as the last spark of dragonfire inside me began to die. I walked into the Oath Hall of Obsidian Keep alone. Black stone stretched beneath my feet, cold enough to bite through my slippers, and every step made the cracked channels around my dragon core grind deeper into my chest. “I’m here to renounce the Obsidian Court and dissolve my life-bond with the Dragon Lord.” The clerk took in my bloodless face and lowered his voice. “Lady Ashton, once I set the seal, the Court will no longer be required to protect you. Are you certain?” My dragonfire had been unstable since birth, leaving me weaker than most dragonkin. When I was te

I am the dragon

I am the dragon

I opened my eyes again and looked around. Baz was standing in front of me and Jennifer was still holding my hand. I squeezed her hand as she looked at me with big eyes. “We bow in your presence Typhon, father of all dragons and mightiest beast in all of the realms, we request the turning of this human so she may birth strong dragon children with her bonded half, her heart is pure and her intent is honorable,” Baz said. I saw the flickering of a black tail and then the great dragon came forward from the shadows as we all bowed our heads. He had a magnificent aura of power, almost suffocating me and I knew that I stood in the presence of the oldest dragon to ever live.

Surrogate For The Dragon KIng

Surrogate For The Dragon KIng

Annabelle “These are all the documents?” I ask before grabbing the large envelope from the forger. I watch his beady eyes scan me as I open it and examine each one to make sure he isn’t trying to deceive me, but the crook is telling the truth. I sigh in relief. Everything I need to become the Dragon King’s surrogate is here: A new birth certificate, a fake lineage line, and a fake certificate of noble blood to boot- the most important one I need.

I said. “You don’t have to be,” he said with a smirk. “So any Sire can make another dragon submit?” I asked him. “Don’t be an idiot, you’re a gray dragon, stronger than all three Elders combined, we can make her submit,” he said. “Easy as that,” I said sarcastically. “What’s Abeloth saying?” Felix asked me. “In the realm of dragons?” I asked Abeloth. “Duh,” Abeloth said and retreated once again.

It's a good book as far as I have read so far. I'm getting discouraged, though. I'm running out of patience and time for these types of stories. "Neverending" stories where some chapters repeat themselves for some reason or other drives me bunkers. Just saying. I prefer shorter stories.
