“I can’t go back to Silverpine until the curse is lifted.” “I need to remember that,” she affirmed. “Hungry?” “I am,” she said and grinned. Her appetite was almost as large as mine. We went back down to the lobby; Byron was still at the desk. “Where’s a good place to eat?” I asked. His smile grew wide. “Definitely Neutral Ground.” “Interesting name,” I remarked. “It’s a local safe haven,” he almost whispered. His eyes darted around the lobby, then landed back on me. “Jaime is the owner and doesn’t tolerate any shifter shenanigans, so everyone can enjoy it.”

I sided with the biker, because, well, he was bigger, and I've always liked rosemary. It features simple fare, well seasoned and prepared, at a reasonable price. The service is excellent, the atmosphere relaxed, and it almost sparkles it's so clean. The sanitation rating is 102, just one point short of perfection. (Natalie's POV) "Where are we going?" I asked as Florian drove smoothly through the streets of Silvercrest Valley. "You'll see," he replied, a hint of excitement in his voice. The car turned down an unfamiliar street, eventually stopping in front of a rustic building with wooden beams and a hand-carved sign: "The Silver Stag." My heart skipped a beat. "A venison restaurant?" I couldn't hide my surprise. Florian nodded, looking pleased with my reaction. "Not just any venison restaurant—they specialize in traditional preparation methods. I've heard it's one of the best."

Let me just check the book.” He ran a finger down the page, turned it, did the same with the next one. “No. No. I’m afraid no one by that name has registered recently. We do have an excellent silver blacksmith in the city, though. Master Akrote. You can find him—”
