The Blood Traitor Pdf Novels & Stories

But the traitor had made one mistake. They believed I would doubt myself. They were wrong. I would strip Blood Moon down to bone if I had to. And when the traitor finally showed their face… There would be no mercy left to give.

“Because I know what it’s like to be watched by everyone.” The words cracked something in me. The arrogance was gone for that heartbeat, stripped bare to something raw. I didn’t push. I just turned back to the shelves. And then I saw it. A yellowed page was tucked between the heavy books, its faded ink still clear enough to read. My hand shook as I pulled it free. The title was scrawled at the top in jagged letters: First Blood. My eyes scanned the words, fragments only. Before wolves, before oaths, there was the First. Blood that commands, blood that binds. Not beast, not man, but both. The source. The curse.

It was signed with blood. This is for my traitors. Just as he left this world, they will too. You all will. This is just the beginning. -Giovanni.

“She acted under your son’s orders and had my mate kidnapped. Twice.” A slow breath left Serena’s lips. She turned to Kira. “Are you the traitor?” she asked flatly. Kira laughed, a soft, broken sound that made the hairs on my arms rise. “Traitor,” she repeated. “Such a funny word.” She locked eyes with me. “You should ask her, she’s well acquainted with traitors. It’s in her bloodline.” My jaw clenched. Of course she’d go there. My father’s sins had nothing to do with me, but I wasn’t about to let her spit on my name in front of an outsider.

someone screamed from the back. "Blood for blood!" "Death to the traitor who killed our future!" "No!" I tore free again with desperate strength, throwing myself between Papa and the angry crowd. "He did not do it! Papa would not hurt anyone! You all know him!" Alpha Darius's blazing golden eyes fixed on me, and I saw absolutely no mercy there. Only cold rage. "The bloodline is tainted. The guilt runs in his veins." "Then let his blood pay the price!" someone shouted.

The stranger dipped into his jacket pocket and pulled out an old, worn leather cover book. "This was once your mother's," he said to me, pulling the book out. "In this book lies the key to our blood. Things which were used against us by Michael." I shook with fists clenched in my hands gripping the journal and threw it open reluctantly, staring at the lovely cursive. The words screamed lie, love, and despair-accepting complicity—a union our tribe was lured into Michael's plan. I was ripping my own heart in two as I read each line.

Perhaps it's effect is only mild. She poured a little of the blood in an empty glass she found on the table, then she added just a little ash and stirred. She frowned when nothing happened. Was the book wrong? If the book was wrong, the book wouldn't be restricted. She then added a little more ash, and the the blood began to foam. Interesting. She watched it closely, taking note of every single change. By the time the blood stopped foaming, it had turned black. She smiled. Now she wondered if this would work on the royal vampires. If only she could get their blood.

I asked again with a frown in case I didn't hear him correctly and he nodded. “Your blood, Alpha. It might be the only thing strong enough to help her recover.” My blood!! No, no. Not my blood. My blood was off the chart. The memories came rushing back as I stood frozen to the ground. The plague. The war I had fought within myself for years. The darkness that ran in my veins, the thing I had worked so hard to suppress. My blood was not normal. It was dangerous and forbidden. I was the only one meant to have such blood, not Irene.

Breathing in relief before his gaze fell to me where my hands were lowered beneath the weight of something rounded and heavy. “There she is.” He whispered. His voice dropped and he looked up. His eyes becoming shadows which danced across his irises and into the whites. Images of writing pouring over them. The words of the book. “Do you truly think I’d ever let you go? You wretched traitor!” Detry called down. So furious he was turning purple. And might stroke. I thought hopefully. “To be a traitor would imply some loyalty. You forced me every step.” “You are to adept a killer to blame me for all the murdering you’ve done!” Detry taunted.

I struggled wildly, my nails leaving bloody scratches on their arms. One of them cursed and gripped my arm tighter. I could feel my bones groaning under the pressure. "You can't do this!" I screamed at Darren. "I'm your wife! This is your blood! The baby will die!" "Then let it die," Darren said, looking down at me. "A bastard with tainted blood doesn't deserve to live in this world." The moment the needle pierced my skin, a burning pain spread through my veins. The drug felt like liquid fire coursing through my body.
