He was a black belt in every martial art, a retired special bodyguard who was notorious for his fighting skills. With a punch, even if Esteban didn’t die, he would become a useless idiot.

Moreover, her white dress' shoulder step had come loose falling to the side, exposing her milky silk skin, absolutely flawless from there his eyes traveled to her well-defined collar bones almost calling out to him to leave hickeys and down ways to her provocative cleavage. Beautiful, was all he could think. "Thank you!" She chimed jumping out of his arms to stand on her own feet. He was disappointed at the loss but nonetheless he came back to earth from his trance. "My duty ma'am. My name is Alexander Rossi, I am the new personal bodyguard assigned to you, I'll be staying with you 24/7 as per orders" he said with a stone face. "Oh cool! I'll call you Alex is that alright ?" She asked with a

"We've been kidnapped?" "Yes." "Who are they after? You or me?" she asked. "I'm not sure," Noah replied, his voice deep and his tone grave. "But what is certain is that they are not ordinary people." Noah’s bodyguard was a retiree of special forces, and under normal circumstances, dealing with five or six thugs posed no problem. However, when he found the bodyguard, he was covered in injuries, each one potentially fatal. The assailant had displayed an alarming level of ruthlessness and precision, indicating a background in professional training.

He had no choice but to hold back his anger, as per his superior’s orders. “Hi Adrian, I’ve come to drop off Luna’s files that she left behind,” replied Matteo in a casual tone, as if Adrian’s behavior just now was nothing out of the ordinary. “Why are you still serving that woman? Hasn’t your job as Luna’s bodyguard come to an end?” Adrian’s eyebrows knitted together. “No. I’ll keep protecting her for as long as it takes,” Matteo replied casually, handing over Luna’s briefcase. “I’m starting to suspect you,” said Adrian, folding his arms across his chest, causing Matteo to shoot him a questioning look, one eyebrow raised almost to his forehead.

For some reason, he was glad that the resemblance ended there. Leonard looked closely at their new “bodyguard” as his mother showed him around. He knew the situation was serious, more than his mother let him believe. Someone was after them or, more precisely, his mother. He took his time assessing Julian Turner. The bodyguard went down with a strangled shout, his knee exploding under the impact as he crashed to the floor, clutching his leg, pain ripping the control from his face. Zayden crossed the room in three steps, gun trained steadily on him. “Don’t,” Zayden said flatly, as the man’s hand twitched toward his weapon. "I'll repeat it, just in case anyone doesn't know about this recruitment yet. Homer and I are looking for a tough bodyguard. He will be our personal bodyguard. He will go wherever we go. We are looking for someone ready to do anything. Ready to devote himself, a loyal follower."

Bartholomew held his head up. "See? Zoey's bodyguards are here. You're done fo—" A scream cut him short. The greasy man who tried to ride me had a bullet tear through his hand. He was rolling and groaning on the ground. "Mr. Artemisia!" the bodyguards shouted in unison. The crystal chandelier even shook a little. Then silence choked the air. The leader of the bodyguards was my dad's confidant and a retired special force soldier, Felix Cashmere. He darted ahead and sent the men around me flying.
