The Chosen Potok Novel Novels & Stories

Hello everyone! I hope you have all been well. I wanted to check in to see how you all feel about this novel. I have been feeling the need to go through and rewrite this book. New storyline will possibly be written, but the characters will remain the same. So... What do you all think? Would you all like a new rewrite of The Chosen, or would you all prefer that I leave it the same? -Tegan

“This scroll book contains history of what you would not believe at all” Fleki tells him as he goes through the pages, Edward also looks keenly and what he sees shocks him. The book was entitled The legend of the chosen with so many names of ancient kinds of people who served as the chosen. It was even more interesting when he sees names that did not come from his tribe. “Ever heard of such kind of names?” he asks Fleki who was more surprised and astonished.

“Like this moment isn’t a beginning, but a return.” Aiden stepped closer, careful. “Because the fire remembers.” She looked up. “It’s not just in your blood,” he said. “It’s in your soul. This power—it’s passed down, but it chooses who it awakens in. Not just anyone can hold it. You were chosen.” Her heart fluttered at the word. Chosen. Not cursed. Not doomed. “I don’t feel strong,” she admitted. “You don’t have to. The fire is strong enough for both of us.”

1921 - Seer "Another fated one has denied his destiny, we remain under Vampire rule for another one hundred years." I peered into the hot liquid and ran a finger down the steaming pot, watching carefully as the ripple expanded.
