Chelsea shot a quick glance at Ava, raising an eyebrow with an almost teasing smirk. “Who’s that at this hour?” Chelsea muttered, pushing herself off the couch. She wasn’t expecting anyone, and neither was Ava, but she opened the door anyway, curiosity piqued. When she swung it open, a delivery man stood on the other side, holding a bag of food in one hand and a small card in the other. His expression was businesslike but friendly, and he glanced between Chelsea and the apartment behind her. “Delivery for Miss Ava,” the man said, sounding like he had said the line a thousand times before. He handed over the bag with a smile, then offered the card. “It’s from Mr. Alexander Reed.”

The delivery man froze, taken aback by the unexpected response. Momentarily forgetting his following words, he clutched the plastic bag and glared at Aria, attempting to appear intimidating. Aria studied his face. His high, sharp cheekbones gave him a harsh appearance. Despite his forced professional smile, his spiteful demeanor shone through. "Alright, I'll be more careful next time," the delivery man mumbled, then raised his hand. "This coffee is for Mr. Sweeney."

Emily was about standing up when a knock on the door halted her movements. "Did you invite anyone else over?" Olivia asked also halting on her steps. "Nope, did you?" Emily asked. My fingers tapped rhythmically against the steering wheel while my mind wandered toward the future I believed was finally within reach. Soon, I pulled into the driveway of my house. Strangely, the security guards were nowhere to be seen. I frowned slightly, irritation flickering across my face as I prepared to call one of them. Before I could reach for my phone, a delivery man hurried toward me carrying a neatly sealed package. “Good morning, sir,” he greeted politely with a slight bow. “Morning,” I replied absentmindedly, assuming Serena had ordered something again. “I'm here to deliver this, sir. Please sign here.”

"What's going on? Where's my food? Are you messing with me? Did you take it after you snapped the photo? I'm warning you, I spent almost two hundred bucks on that meal. Bring it back right now!"
