Bound to the Cruel Billionaire

Bound to the Cruel Billionaire

“So high… I could barely breathe when I climbed it. The sky was gray, not stormy though, but… empty. Like it had forgotten how to hold the sun.” Nana said nothing and simply listened as Thalia’s voice grew steadier, yet distant, like she was still half in the dream. “At the very top,” she went on, “there was a tree. It stood all alone. There were no grasses around it, no flowers. Just soil… dry and cracked like it hadn’t been touched by rain in years.” Her gaze was still on the ceiling, but her eyes were far away. “The tree was tall... But tired. Its trunk was scarred. Its branches bent. And its leaves…” She swallowed. “They were falling. One by one, drifting away without sound.”

The Rejected Blood Moon

The Rejected Blood Moon

Kael watched as the leaves drifted downward, curling gently before touching the ground. He knelt to gather them, holding them as though they might vanish. “They die?” he asked quietly. Lyra shook her head. “They rest. Death is not the end of warmth. It is its echo returning to the Flow.” The Flame Child stepped forward, their firelight dancing across the fallen leaves. “When one fire fades,” they said, “another waits in the dark, ready to spark.” The Children listened, half in awe, half in fear.

Fallen-Re

Fallen-Re

“I’m just thankful that we are still your mates, I was worried that things would end up being different with you not being a fallen.” I shook my head in shock. “What’s a fallen?” “They were angels in past lives and they’re used as tools to combat demons. They’re extremely rare because they’re normally killed off but you had survived. Baby, what I’m telling you is the truth.” He said. “This is a bit much for me to digest honestly, I barely know any of you.” I told him. A fallen? What’s he going on about things being different? I’m so confused. “I made you fall in love with me once, I’ll do it again.” He approached me and I felt tingles, proving that we were mates. He rested his forehead on to

Becoming the Elf King's bride

Becoming the Elf King's bride

Her neck cracked—and her head tilted skyward, her hair fanning outward and transforming into delicate, hanging leaves. Within seconds, the girl was gone. In her place stood a young sapling, still glistening with tears, her face full of sorrow. Nearby, the Queen Mother stood frozen, her eyes wide. Beside her were Ludiciel, the twins, and Mariel, all watching in abject horror as their people fell—one by one—turning into trees. At that moment, the Queen Mother remembered a story, an ancient tale passed down in secret through the Matriarchs of their line. It was never written or spoke aloud. Just passed down from King and Queen to the next King and Queen.

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Weapon of the First King Golden leaves fell from the heavens. Thousands of them. Maybe millions. Nobody knew. Nobody could count. The entire battlefield had become a storm of gold. Beautiful. Terrifying. Impossible. The leaves drifted through the broken sky. Across the shattered mountains. Across the armies gathered below. And everywhere they touched— people felt it. Hope. Real hope. The kind that hadn't existed in ten thousand years. Then the horror stopped moving. Immediately. Its massive eyes followed the falling leaves.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

When We Fall

When We Fall

Tears slipped down her cheeks soundlessly. She didn’t reply. She couldn’t. Outside, the city moved on, unaware of the quiet devastation unfolding behind closed doors. Love hadn’t died. It had been sacrificed.

The Falling Leaves In Autumn

The Falling Leaves In Autumn

He rested his profound gaze on me and asked, “How did you fall? When did you get here?” I clenched my fists tightly inside my sleeves. I knew that tearing things up at that moment would not do me any good. I obediently leaned into his arms like I always did. “I just got here. My heels were too high. I twisted my ankle.” The tension in his face finally eased. He scooped me up and headed out. He said in a low voice, “You’re not allowed to wear heels this high anymore.” I looked at the face I had once been so captivated by, yet an endless chill spread through my heart.

I commented. She smirked at me, but didn’t respond. Instead, she continued her story, though perhaps with a little more pride in her tone. “We reached the trees, and he led me to this secluded bit, right at the back. And then a gust of wind came, and the leaves started to fall down all around us.

Such an exciting read so far! I am enjoying getting to know our main characters and discovering how their lives have come together while trying to anticipate what might happen next as each chapter is released. Having just finished the entirety of The Beta’s Daughter, this author is an amazing writer

A fantastic second novel, with a refreshingly different tone from the previous entry. The mythologies in this are very well developed and I am very excited to see how the story unfolds! The protagonist and her love interest and very engaging too and I am rooting hard for them!

"okay" Hussain sat on the bench as she curled close to him. "Teach me how to speak Greece Language Hun"she requested as he played with her hair under the jibab. "It is not easy as you thought"Hussain replied. "But I want to" She whined sitting up. "Tomorrow morning please" She added. "Tomorrow"He sighed, defeated. *** The wind whispered and the leaves rattled due to the weather. Men trod back and forth, some in their house wear and some in the suit. Nafisa watched through the window as the city was rustling with noises.
