Chapter 17: Chaos Morning sunlight streamed through the tall windows of Ethan’s penthouse, its warmth doing little to thaw the tension lingering from the night before. Olivia stirred on the sleek leather sofa, groaning as reality sank in. The events of the past twelve hours replayed in her mind like a chaotic film reel, Sienna’s dramatic intrusion, the scandalous headlines, and Ethan’s searing kiss that still tingled on her lips.

The pull in her chest that felt less like a crush and more like gravity, less like choice and more like law. Falling, she thought. I've already fallen.
