A war had suddenly erupted the warriors fighting the witches, whom were from powerful houses. The warriors had no chance of winning against us. Some of their warriors had started falling and several bleeding out, just as I was about to throw a fireball at Alpha Laurence, I heard a scream, “Noooooooooo”. As I turned around to see where this had come from, I saw out of the corner of my eyes something move very fast towards the Alpha.

They decided that they should just make the existing spell stronger and use several witches and warlocks together to do it. I smiled as they all surrounded the house and placed the spell. The simple act felt comforting to me until we heard a scream coming from the coat closet in the living room. Zach opened the door and pulled the dark warlock out of the house, then stabbed him in the heart with an ice dagger that had been laying close by. Well, at least now I know the spell is working.

The battles mostly take place at night, with the witches catching the cursed ones in ambushes and fighting them with utter disregard for their lives to bring the enemies down. The battles are gruesome as the council of sixteen leads each attack, striking the cursed ones at their homes, in their lofty castles, as they return from social gatherings, and even at the meetings they call to discuss how to deal with the recent reparations from the witches.
