The Heir I Refused To Bear Novels & Stories

“I do not want it. I never wanted it.” It was true. Every word. Being heir meant being my father’s weapon. His tool. His disappointment. I hated it. Hated the responsibility and the expectations and the constant reminder that I would never be good enough. “Three days,” Lila said. “But after that, if you are still here, if you are still hiding him, I will tell Uncle Marcus everything.” “Deal.” She stood, grabbed her phone, and left without another word. The cabin fell silent. Kade watched me with those unreadable silver eyes. “You just gave away your birthright.”

Kael shook his head. “No.” The stranger raised an eyebrow. “No?” “I don't want them to kneel.” For the first time, the stranger looked surprised. Kael continued. “I don't want a throne.” “You are the heir.” “I don't care.” “You have the blood.” “Blood doesn't decide who I become.” The stranger stared at him. Kael could feel the Moon Seal burning. His body trembled. But he refused to bend. “I spent eighteen years hiding because everyone thought an Omega should belong to someone.”

He has known about this provision since the day I signed it. He has spent three years trying to prevent that heir from existing. You are seventeen weeks pregnant, and if you are reading this letter, you are also still alive — which means he has failed. Do not let him try again. Finish it. The way I couldn’t. Not because you owe me anything, but because those children deserve a world where the thing that killed your father can no longer touch what we built. I love you, mija. I always loved you more than the empire. I just wasn’t always wise enough to show it in the right order.

Seris, her mist thinning as the shadows pressed in. And the truth— The terrible, fracturing truth she had buried so deep she had almost convinced herself it was not real. She closed her eyes. Opened them. Looked at the guardian. "I do not want this," she said. Her voice cracked. Broke. "I do not want to be the Heir. I do not want to lead. I do not want to burn myself away piece by piece until there is nothing left but duty and power and a name carved into history. I want—"

The notary's finger hovered above the keyboard for a moment. "Mrs. Fuzio." He adjusted his glasses, not daring to look straight at me. "The heir next in line needs to be present to confirm his intentions." I was confused. Christian Fuzio was an only child. His parents passed away ten years ago. We were married for 20 years with no children. "What did you say?" Before the notary could reply, the doors opened. When the boy walked in, I didn't even react. That was, until I saw his face.

Without another glance, the Master and his assistant strode away. I collapsed onto the cold floor. Regret gnawed at my heart like a venomous snake. Elara hadn't lied. She had been silently sacrificing for this family, even when we misunderstood and humiliated her. I went mad trying to chase the Master, but my father rushed over and slapped me across the face. "You useless pup! You're going to kill your mother!" "I told you Elara was the Head Healer for a reason! She was always better than that Liana, but you wouldn't listen!"

It was the first time I had seen him angry. "It was something arranged, Fernando. There is no love." I feel the need to repeat it, even though I know nothing will change. "And you accepted". "I had no choice. There are too many things at stake, you wouldn't understand." I explain again, sighing tiredly. Fernando was somewhat normal, just a successful businessman. I was not only a businesswoman, but also a mafia heiress. I had responsibilities since I was born. "Then explain to me." Fernando looks at me, as if begging for that.

The members who accompanied Alden to the chamber all flinched back, covering their eyes from the light. Her voice soft, yet powerful echoed through the air“An heir is needed. ”her words filled with certainty.Alden’s Heart raced and then came the next shock “ from your rejected mate, or else you will remain ill and lose leadership to your pack.”His eyes flew open, cold shivers ran down his spine, cold sweat formed in his palms, and the words crashing into his mind. His mate?, the one he had rejected moons ago?, How could she be the solution? He thought.

She shrank back, shaking her head with her mane of white shaking as well, her lips moved with no sound. “She never listens to me,” I continued, the words burning as I said them, finally an outlet. “She doesn’t learn. She disgraces herself everyday and then I am left to clean up the mess. And you…” I laughed bitterly. “You refused to give birth to another, and then you’re a belligerent mess now and you can’t even harden her. Teach her the right way.” My fists clenched. “How do I get an heir,” I demanded, “when the bitch you gave birth to is a complete liability l? When she flees at the first real sign of consequence and aligns herself with fools and turns our allies to enemies?”

“But you’re wearing the crown now. Whether you want it or not.” Callister didn’t answer. Just stared, stony and sharp. He pressed on. “I know you didn’t ask for this, but you are not the first to carry a weight you didn’t choose. And you won’t be the last.” Still no reply. “So,” His father went on, more carefully now, “if you truly want to be free of it… If you want to walk away, then prepare your heir.” Callister’s eyes flicked to him, hard.
