The Heir I Refused To Bear Novels & Stories

--- She thought often about what it meant to be an heir. Not just of land—though the documents were finally settled, the valley legally hers, passed down from Tata Pedro to his grandchildren and their children after them. But of something deeper. A way of seeing the world. A stubborn, unshakeable belief that the land could heal if people gave it a chance. Tata Pedro had not left her money or property or stocks. He had left her a mission. And she had carried it forward, not because she was special, but because she had refused to let it go.

But he didn’t understand the depths of my resolve. I wasn’t taking those pills. I wouldn’t let him destroy the only piece of happiness I had left, the only light in the darkness of this nightmare. This baby was mine. It was a part of me, and I would fight for it, even if it meant going against him every single day. Some nights, I lay awake, my hand resting over my stomach. I whispered to the tiny life inside me, promises I wasn’t sure I could keep but meant with every fiber of my being.

He holds my gaze and challenges every reason my brain comes up with that he’s here with me tonight for any reason other than he wants to be with me. “So, you’re not a choice of successor. You’re an heir,” he says slowly, as if trying to comprehend what I’m saying. “I’m not just AN heir, Benedict. I’m THE heir,” I say quietly. “What do you mean?” “When my grandfather met my grandmother, his fated mate, he didn’t accept her. He didn't realize that she had Alpha blood. You know how second sons become Betas and second sons of Betas become Gammas, etc?” I ask.

"You have to calm down, Rhea. Just listen to me. You have to understand. Our bloodline cannot end. And right now, you are the most eligible person to bear us an heir. You do not expect us to just sit on our ends and watch while we grow old and then have no heir? No. If something happens to all three of us, what do you expect us to do? Our bloodline cannot just end with us. Our father did not allow our bloodline to end with him, so we can't allow our own bloodline to end with us. You have to bear us an heir. You have to understand. Just calm down, all right? This is going to be fine. Everything is going to be okay." He said, trying to calm me down as I shrugged his hands off my shoulder. "Jus

Grandma asked "There's no even need for that. The first and last one are quite easy but the second one is going to be a bit difficult so if you can pass the other two stages and meet the exact requirement, you'll automatically become the heir or heiress. The person with the highest profit wins and it must be two companies" she added "So..... Who are we starting with? Since we have only one male here, starting with him won't be a bad idea. John Campbell, step forward with your ledgers" Grandma said and I heaved a sigh of relief

It was his mother’s words that forced me to go back to the pack without trying to make a deal. “He was willing to fight by your side. You were too, and we were all willing to support you. What happened, Kai? What made you step back?” Rustem asked, shaking his head at me. “Don’t get me wrong, but you visited the man in Rome, rejecting…” “He is to be announced his heir.” Mom’s voice came from behind me, and I looked away from the man. His eyes widened and he shook his head at me. “And you believed that he would announce you an heir when he had a legitimate one that he gave up on? I am not going to need to mention the one that he killed.” He said, and I shook my head.

I Scoffed and he stood up and walked toward my seat. “ I can't reject my chosen Queen. I won't have an heir and if I don't have an heir, the lineage will end with me” He pushed the table away and stood in front of me with a sharp gaze but that doesn't help my growing anger. “ Good luck having your precious heir because I am Barren! I can't have children. Do you want to know the reason why my ex-husband maltreats me? It's because I'm unable to have children, Now that you know I can't give you the heir you want or continue your lineage with me. What is going to happen? Are you going to start abusing me too?” Standing up, I pushed him away from me angrily but grabbed both of my wrists and pulle

“I told you everything would go well.” “Well is a bit of an exaggeration,” I replied, crossing my arms as I turned to face him. “He barely looked at me for more than two seconds and refused to greet me. He didn’t even want to acknowledge my presence.” “He’ll get used to it,” Rayan said, leaning against the table by the window. “He doesn’t have another choice. You’re the mother of his grandchild now. He wouldn’t dare do anything while you’re carrying my heir.” The word heir echoed inside me with an almost ironic weight… repulsive, even. I would never allow something like that, carrying the lineage of my parents’ murderer inside my womb.

"A woman was about to die, at my hands, because of your rash, solitary decision, and you say it's none of my business?" "I just wanted to leave," Khaid insisted stubbornly. "You can't just leave! It’s your family legacy! You are the Heir!" Khaid scoffed. "Heir my foot." "This is not the time to be nonchalant!" she snapped. Khaid lost it. He slammed the laptop shut and yelled, the sound vibrating through the lounge. "I'm just tired! Tired of everything! Tired of the bloodshed, the inherited feud, and this bloody unspoken anxiety that hangs over us!"

"The child *is* the mistake, Kei. The biggest mistake of all." "This child is my heir."His voice hardens, Alpha authority bleeding into every word. "My future heir." *Heir.* Not child, not baby. *Heir.* A possession. A successor. I let out a sound that's half laugh, half sob. "I don't care." "You will." "No." I stare directly into his eyes. "I won't." Then I turn toward the doctor. The poor man looks seconds away from passing out. "Doctor." His eyes widen. "Your Highness—"
