That day, I was doing a long-haul run on the Sicherian-Timbre Highway when I met a young couple halfway along the journey. Standing in the middle of the road, they waved at me, signaling for me to stop. There were quite a lot of hitchhikers in this area. I had met quite a few before. However, they were usually women in thick makeup. You could tell what kind they were at a glance.
