Hi guys👋 I know most of you didn’t expect the book to end this way, most of you wanted Jacob to be back but sadly it didn’t happen. However the last chapter ended with a cliffhanger so there may or may not be a “book two” it all depends on what the platform wants. I hope they accept “book 2” because I have so many uncovered secrets to tell and of course, I have a character that I will love to bring back.

I wanted her to be my side , but a daunting truth fell upon me as I realised my status was not even fit to be in the same room as her Yet , she asks the king permission to spend time at the stables…with you… I hear a small voice of hope speaking to me at the back of my mind. I try my best to let those hopeful words sink in my heart , how ever I could not overcome the intrusive thoughts that flooded my brain. I am pulled out of my thoughts as I hear a silent voice that sounds much sweeter than any of the voices I hear around me.

Slowly and taking my time as if I have all the time in the world to shave my legs. I felt the blade cut my skin as I hissed. I stopped and looked at a small cut. Blood appeared, and it gave me an idea. An awful idea. Great. I'm like the Grinch. But this Grinch was an idea that would get me out and risk my life and my child. I rubbed my belly and paused to feel it kick. I smiled yet felt nervous. This awful ideal is the only way I can escape this cage. I'm scared if I don't react before my son is born. I will never see him or my family and friends again.

Ivana’s voice was hoarse again as she squeaked. “Ah…” I looked back to where I had stood and then at her. “Are you crying because you thought I want to kill myself?” I raised my brows at her since this was what I understood so far in all the words she had said. “Thought?” Her eyes flickered as she gazed at me. “Weren’t you about to kill yourself, I saw you trying to jump off the roof just now.” She pointed and I made a little chuckle. “What? Have you suddenly changed from watching romantic movies to horror movies?” I scoffed since I couldn’t believe she would think I would do that. “Why would I want to kill myself?” I couldn’t help but ask her.
