The Iliad Setting Novels & Stories

"Be careful, Ria." Cryx and I, and the others have our own codes basing on Greek and Roman Mythology. Right now, I based it on the glory of Greece, the Illiad by Homer. The Battle between the Acaeans (Greeks) and the Trojans. During their conquer of Chryse, a town allied with Troy, the Greeks captured Chryseis and Briseis. Agamemnon took Chryseis as his crowning glory while Achilles took Briseis. When Chryseis' father learned of this, he offered a magnanimous sacrifice to the god Apollo for his daughter's safe return. Agamemnon then conspired to take Briseis away from Achilles and offer her as remuneration. This will allow Cryx to decipher that there is danger nearby and they plan to take Br

Mount Olympus (/oʊˈlɪmpəs, əˈlɪm-/;Greek: Όλυμπος Olympos, for Modern Greek also transliterated Olimbos, [ˈolimbos] or [ˈolibos]) is the highest mountain in Greece. Mount Olympus is the legendary home of the gods in Greek mythology. According to research, the mountain was created after the Titanomachy, the epic fighting between the young gods, the Olympians and the older gods, the Titans. As a result of this battle, the Olympian victors created their new majestic domestic – Mount Olympus. It used to be shrouded from human eyes by using clouds which constantly obscured its peaks. "But what is meant to happen is going to happen regardless of what you have said. Well, you could at least thank him for not eating Rhea while he still has a chance. That is because he is in love with her and will do everything in order to take care of her." Suddenly, he started disappearing into thin air as well. I was so disheartened with what was happening right now. From what I remembered from the Moon Goddess, this place is called Gilgamesh. And if I am not mistaken, these rogues are the ones who are going to declare war against us.

And yet the smoke rose above the city walls carried the acrid stench of bad things burning, things that should not be burning and also from the streets—as loud as the clanging Twin Moon procession—rose the shouts of fighting and the screams of fear. Ilyria’s heart sank. The city was the same as she had left it, maybe worse. And now she had no plan at all.

Walking out a few distance away from Ithakis, with his mate wrapped securely around his arms. He disappeared from the forest, back to the land of the Ithaki. Back to his room In the Ithaki land.

Leandros’s POV King Iliad broke down, his demeanor changing totally from that of a tormentor to a victim. However, his tears failed to move the council. “I was protecting my kingdom and my daughter from the evil tribrid king, Konstantin Barberis, of the kingdom of Vradeto, on Mount Tymphe. He has attacked us five times over the last two years. This time, he threatened to use unfair means if I didn’t surrender my kingdom and my daughter to him.”

His mouth tilts up in the corner, giving me a sharp grin. “No, no.” I shake my head, my hair falling in front of me. “Homer, he wrote in The Iliad about the natural gases that sprout from the cracks of limestone in the mountains near Olympus. I’m flying, soaring above the clouds.

As we hurried away in the rain, I could feel his warm touch, fair enough to calm my body from the cold of the night. I felt as if I was being taken to another world, similar to the one in my dream. There were strange noises all around us, and the water pouring down on us abruptly stopped. The enchanting feeling was there, as though my body was absorbing vigor from my surroundings. It was familiar yet strange to me. And the next thing I knew was when I opened my eyes; I was in another world. A world they called Olympus.

“I won’t let him take you from me.” Lillian’s heartbeat stuttered, but she kept her voice steady. “No one will take me from you.” A silence stretched between them, thick with all the words they hadn’t yet said. Then, finally, Aedric nodded. “Then let’s prepare for war.” Lillian turned toward the tent opening, gazing out at the darkened battlefield. The embers of burning torches flickered in the night, the scent of blood and smoke heavy in the air. This was only the beginning.
