The Intern Ending Mga Nobela at Kwento

But I can’t come up with anything. "And Alex, it gets worse. When I was at the gym, I got a call from the foundation that was sponsoring my internship telling me they had ended it because of some 'disturbing news' they seemed to know about me. I have no clue what they were talking about." Tears brimmed in her cheeks as she spoke, and I tried my best to comfort her again. "It doesn't matter now," she said while gesturing towards her apartment complex. "all I want right now is for Brad to be okay. The termination of the internship doesn't mean much compared to losing Brad." She mumbled the last part before breaking into sobs once again.

Not one I can give. I drag a hand down my face, force myself to breathe. Later, I tell myself. Later, after I’ve had her, after I’ve burned every ounce of sanity I’m clinging to, then I’ll deal with it. I finally speak, voice steady, masking the storm inside: "Anytime you want it to end, June. You walk, I won’t stop you." Her lips curl in that triumphant, dangerous smile of hers. "Then it ends with my internship," she says, as if convincing herself.

While walking through the premises, he got a call, "Hello," On the other side, the young man replied, "Good afternoon Assistant Lim, I called you for the follow-up. Does my presence need there?" "I don't think so, everything is going well. The juniors you trained were working efficiently. The entire problem will resolve today, let me check if they have finished or not." "What? You are not there? Then who is it? Don't tell me that young Intern…" "You are right. Since it's the last day of the internship, so I gave that task."

The girl in the middle opened her mouth, looked to the others, and said nothing. Richard looked calmly at all three of them. “My team has zero tolerance for intellectual dishonesty. Your internships are terminated, effective immediately.” Gasps. A few shocked glances. But the group didn’t argue—they just stood, silent, faces pale, and gathered their things. From the corner of my eye, I caught movement. Jason. He was sitting a row over, watching the group like someone who’d just seen a plan backfire. And then he saw me watching him.

He looked sharp in his blue vintage shirt and grey trousers — like a boss. I didn’t have time to talk to him, so I walked past. “Hello, Miss Mira.” He lowered the magazine slightly. “Hi, Ken. And please — Mira is fine.” I forced another smile. “Why are you just leaving?” I should have been the one asking the new intern what he was still doing there so late, but I answered anyway. “Obvious reasons, of course.” “To deliver a great job as the graphic designer?” I paused. I’d never told him that. Someone must have done their homework.

My eyes widened as they argued amongst themselves. Mr. Greenville submitted a written apology to the management and my uncle. “That settles everything. Please take back your case, Mr. Andreadis. Your niece can continue here as an intern. I apologize on behalf of my staff for what she had to go through,” said Mr. Mackenzie. “Thank you. I take back my case,” said my uncle. “I don’t want to continue here as an intern anymore, Uncle Felixe.” All eyes turned towards me. “Is that your final decision, Lyra?” I nodded, determined to end this and move on.

I hesitated, dread knotting my stomach before I clicked it open. -Termination of appointment: After reviewing the evidence presented to management, we have found that you engaged in bullying behavior toward interns under your supervision. To protect the company's image, we regret to inform you that your employment has been terminated. No compensation package will be provided- The phone slipped from my hands and clattered onto the floor. My mind reeled. How? When? Why? I heard noises outside my house , I immediately got up and walked towards the window, I pulled up the curtains and stared out, a crowd of journalists had gathered at my door. I dropped the curtain immediately and sunk to my kne

It was just that he made a smile every time I met him. I headed for my desk. My gaze went straight to the other side, Xavier's desk. It was already empty. I was sure our internship hasn't ended yet. I wonder, where did he go? Keeping the question to myself, I sat down and turned on the computer. A resigned sigh could be heard from the other side. "We're doomed. Lowly employees like us will be expelled. I have to find a new job." "That's right, we're so ruined that the summer is turning into agony. It's so hot...."

The car pulls out. I wait while he scrolls. The silence tightens between us. The only sound is the engine's low growl and the soft tap of his finger on the screen. I count the taps. Five. Ten. The leather seat bleeds heat through my jeans, and my hands are clamped on my thighs with knuckles gone pale. "You terminated my agency contract." "I streamlined your employment status." He doesn't look up. "You can't intern while under exclusive arrangement. It's a conflict of interest."

My hands were completely full with a massive stack of files, so I dropped a quick message in the team group chat: [Anyone down to pick up lunch for me? I’ll cover a coffee for your trouble.] Brandon Cole, the brand-new intern, saw it and immediately chimed in to offer a hand. When he handed me the takeout container, he casually let out a heavy sigh and looked down at his phone. "Man, I was just scrolling Instagram and saw Starbucks came out with this new iced strawberry lemonade. It’s like six bucks, but I’ve never tried it." My finger froze over the ordering app on my screen. My entire lunch, including the delivery fee, was about eleven dollars. Still, looking at the eager, expectant p
