Meyer replied, "Well, from the video we saw, she was attacked twice, and it was from people with different builds, with one looking close to her ex, although the footage was kind of blurry. I have a picture here of the suspect and victim." She handed over four pictures, and Dane said, picking up one of the pictures "Hey, isn't that Jaxon Hearst?" James said, "Yea, it is him. What's he doing here?" Meyer said, "Jaxon, Merida, and her ex, Timothy, actually went to the same college with this other woman... I think her name was..." James cut her off, "Louisa." Meyer asked, "How do you know?"

He gave me one last worried glance before exiting the room, leaving me alone with the infuriated Don. My heart raced in my chest, thumping so loud I feared the Don would hear it. His gaze bore into mine, igniting an overwhelming sense of vulnerability and another feeling I didn’t quite understand. His predatory grey eyes seemed to lock me in. He took a step closer, his voice dripping with venom. "Do you have any idea who I am, Elena?" still pointing the gun at me. I could only nod. "I am Don Luciano Vitello," he declared with authority, his eyes locked onto mine. "And I demand absolute obedience from those who work for me."

She doesn't look back; she just gets to Vincenzo's room, opens the door, and enters inside. Why is she here? Vincenzo was lying! I wanted to continue my journey but I couldn't bring myself to move one inch forward, so I went back and placed my ear on the door. “So the rumors are true?” Melinda seethes, the bitterness in her tone is palpable. “What rumors?” Vincenzo snaps angrily. “You're sleeping with that filthy slave?” Melinda sneered. “She's not a slave!” Vincenzo counters, maybe he wasn't lying after all.

’ Melissa folded her arms and now the three of them glared at her, ‘You will not believe this’ She grabbed herself a glass of wine and sank into the chair recounting everything that had happened apart from him doing all but make love to her. Her friends were thrilled for her they all knew she had been pining for this stranger and it never crossed their minds that it was a huge coincidence he was in Italy at the same time they were. ‘’Hang on, what are you not telling us?’ Dawn said looking at the high blush on the cheeks and sparkling eyes of her friend. Gabriella hugged herself and whispered,

He twisted in his seat to look at Melissa, who nodded at him to continue, "I think it had something to do with that kid that he killed a few weeks ago." "Giovanni?" Jerry nodded. "You know about it?" Melissa nodded. "I know about it. Everyone in New York knows about it… but why is he going to Italy? What purpose does it serve?" Jerry shrugged again. "I have never understood the way Italians run their business." "Maybe, his traveling is the window we need to complete our plan," Mellisa said. "With him and Julian gone, maybe… just maybe…" she sounded lost in thoughts. "Hmm, when did they say he had to go?" She finally asked.

She holds the rail with one hand, and her second hand is holding ice Americano in her second hand. They're gazing at the view of the street from up here, and she constantly smiles whenever her eyes catch up with the view that interests her. “How did you discover this place?” Melanie asks, sipping from her drink. “I usually visited here when I was a lad.” Mr Gordon utters behind her, he sneaks his hand on her waist and pulls her tightly to his body. Melanie chuckles, almost forgetting what Drew told her earlier. ‘I heard he stabbed his wife to death. Are you not curious to know why?’

Christine asked surprised. It was weird that Ruth would bail on a trip to Italy. "Did he not invite you?" Christine asked. "He did and I declined," Ruth said. "Why?" "Because there was no use! He will just be busy with work ignoring me totally and starving me of what I desperately need," Ruth said. "Moreover I had planned on coming to see you so..." Ruth added. "Don't you know that Italy is the country of love? Who knows whether that would have been where you and him would have found your 'zing'" Christine said as she made invisible quotes with her fingers as she pronounced 'zing'.

As soon as the elevator's door closed, the maid knelt and begged for mercy, "I'm so, so sorry, Madam Melanie. I didn't know Mr. Page was inside. I thought it was Mr. Strauss. I was sure that I heard Mr. Strauss's voice. I … I …" Melanie forsook her grace and kicked the maid. She hollered, "You idiot!" All of a sudden, two men approached Melanie and the maid. They said nothing and took the maid away. Both Melanie and the maid recognized those men as Yolanda's bodyguards.

“What does it matter? When you two get married, she'll be working for you anyway. Where are you from? Who are your parents?” Melanie scammed the area around her quickly, looking for someone to save her, put her out of her misery. She still couldn’t find Leila and Erin was still having conversations with her employers. She spotted Calvin across the room, chatting with some other men and women that she recognized from their visits and appointments at the office as his business partners and shareholders. He looked handsome and confident, and Melanie couldn’t help but feel proud to be his girlfriend in that moment. But then a sharp rise in the tone of the older woman in front of her summoned her

"You don't owe him anything. Who knows how many women he's seen since he went back to Sicily? How many girls he's fucked? You think he's sitting around feeling guilty about moving on?" Something twisted in my stomach. "What do you mean?" "Babe, he's a rich, powerful, ridiculously attractive man surrounded by beautiful Italian women who actually understand his world." Vivian's voice was gentler now. "You really think he's been celibate for three weeks?" "I…" I hadn't thought about that. Hadn't let myself think about that. "He's probably been with Melissa," Millie said quietly, then immediately looked like she regretted it. The ice cream in my mouth turned to ash.
