The first words that were spoken since the airport was when they stepped into the elevator up to his apartment. “So… How did you get my car keys?” His eyes remained focussed on the doors of the elevator, but the small smile on his face couldn’t be hidden. “Oh you know, Andrew gave me the keys to your apartment.” Deagan didn’t know whether to thank him or kick his ass. “I’m not sure whether I want to kiss him or kick his ass.” Deagan chuckled and shook his head as they stepped off the elevator. “Look, I’m not sure what kind of freaky stuff you guys are into, but I’d appreciate it if I wasn’t there when it happens.” Deagan’s jaw dropped at her frank words.
